Don't you mess with the Torchio Gang!

Made in the wake of Totò Peppino e la Malafemmina's ,triumph this flick nearly succeeds to repeat the former success. Taking money from his Rich and greedy wife (Titina de Filippo) Totò stages his own kidnapping with the help of his barber Peppino, but the real bandits do not take it well. The two lead as terrific as usual but the most memorable of all is Titina De Filippo served by a very funny role as Totò mistress. Perhaps the script Is not so original (it kinda reminds Laurel and Hardy Sons of the Desert) but Mastro cinque brings home a decent result, thanks mostly to an excellent cast (Dorian Gray and Teddy Reno are also back front Malafemmina). Funniest scene: The invitation to lunch.
