Turhan Bey, Lucille Bremer, Arturo de Córdova, and Noreen Nash in Adventures of Casanova (1948)

Trivia

Adventures of Casanova

Edit
This was the very first film to be shown on New York station WCBS-TV's (Channel 2) soon-to-be legendary and long-running late-night movie showcase, "The Late Show", on 2/26/51.
The film was shot in Mexico. In an interview, Noreen Nash told how star Turhan Bey was dating actress Linda Christian during production. Apparently, a former President of Mexico was also interested in Christian and didn't want any competition, because one day Bey went to producer Bryan Foy and told him that his life had been threatened and he had to get out of the country fast. Foy had the script rewritten to have Bey's character killed off right away so that Bey could get out of Mexico; that's why his character disappears so suddenly and Nash's character is seen crying about his unexpected death.
