I am the Freddie Daniel that appeared in this movie. I sang tenor with The Sunshine Boys Quartet. J. D. Sumner (now deceased) sang bass. Ace Richman (now deceased) sang baritone and Eddie Wallace sang lead. Is there any copies of this film on VHS available or any other memorabilia.

This is the film that my horse ran under a tree and almost knocked me out of the saddle but the scene was left in the film

I look forward to any correspondence concerning this film.

    Prairie Roundup

Steve Carson, a former Texas Ranger Captain, shoots a fleeing hold-up bandit and is framed on a murder charge. He escapes with the help of his pal Smiley and they hire out as cowhands on a ranch owned by Toni Eaton. Steve, as the Durango Kid, learns that Buck Prescott has been fleecing the local ranchers by paying low prices for their cattle that have been stampeded by his henchmen. But he has no proof and his alter ego Steve is still wanted on the murder charge.

Not bad entry with some good villainy and well-staged fights -good idea of having a fake Durango kid robbing people and when he gets killed Steve Prescott ( the real Durango kid) gets arrested for killing him. Well he did, because the fake one was robbing a bank. It adds a little drive to the formula of chases and gunfights.
