The Real Housewives of Orange County is on fire this season and everyone has chimed in on the Shannon Beador drama.
Shannon has been getting it from all sides with Tamra Judge dragging her every chance she gets regarding her issues with alcohol.
Then there’s Alexis Bellino and John Janssen. They are set on making her life miserable.
Viewers have been Team Shannon all the way, bashing the trio for their cruel treatment of the 60-year-old.
However, Shannon also has another supporter: Bravo Housewife Erika Jayne.
While discussing the show alongside her fellow Fox Force Five member Teddi Mellencamp, the Rhobh star declared “Just leave Shannon alone.”
Rhoc fans were excited to find out that the Pretty Mess singer was Team Shannon and they took to the comments to cosign Erika’s statement.

When it comes to inflation, the Fox News hosts of “The Five” apparently can have their cake and eat it, too.
On Monday’s show, co-host Greg Gutfeld graced viewers with a long diatribe on President Joe Biden’s “60 Minutes” interview, which he called “exhausting” but “almost brilliant” for its breadth of resulting material.
“Some guy who’s kind of along for the ride, who’s got some opinions about the pandemic and Taiwan and casually just throws them out there and you have to come up and clean up after him,” Gutfeld said of Biden, not long before the usually reserved and collected anchor of the show, Dana Perino, brought the house down with, what else?
A dick joke.

'Son of Saul': Géza Röhrig in the Los Angeles Film Critics Awards' Best Foreign Language Film winner. Charlotte Rampling, Michael Fassbender: Los Angeles Film Critics Awards 2015 The Los Angeles Film Critics Association's 2015 winners were announced on Sunday, Dec. 6. Lafca is one of the two most influential critics groups – i.e., those whose decisions get at least some mainstream media mileage – in the United States. The other one is the much older New York Film Critics Circle, followed by the National Society of Film Critics. Five-decade movie veteran Charlotte Rampling,[1] who'll turn 70 next Feb. 5, was one of the day's big winners. Besides being selected Best Actress by the Los Angeles Film Critics for her performance in 45 Years, Rampling was also the 2015 Boston Society of Film Critics' pick. Earlier this year, Andrew Haigh's marital drama costarring Tom Courtenay (Doctor Zhivago, The Dresser) earned her the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival.

Amy Schumer and Bill Hader in TrainwreckPhoto: Universal Pictures With Sundance just wrapping up and Berlin starting up in a few days, we are now immersed in the year-long barrage of film festivals. One such festival in South By Southwest. A few weeks back they announced the first seven films of their program, including the opening night film Brand: A Second Coming. Today, they have revealed the rest of the features to be shown in March (except for the midnight program), and some of it has me very excited. The bigger titles announced do not do much for me. Paul Feig's Spy, starring Melissa McCarthy, and the Will Ferrell/Kevin Hart starrer Get Hard leave a lot to be desired in terms of anticipation, as does a work in progress cut of Judd Apatow's latest film Trainwreck. I'm guessing an Apatow work in progress is probably around three and a half hours.

In 2003, William James Murray (better known to those who haven't spent hours reading his Wikipedia page as Bill Murray) starred in Sofia Coppola's "Lost in Translation," a poignant, somber romantic comedy that spotlighted the budding relationship between an aging film star (Murray) and the lonely wife of a photographer (Scarlett Johansson) in Tokyo. Murray was nominated for an Oscar for said performance, but he ultimately lost to Sean Penn's turn in "Mystic River."

London, March 12: Actor Michael Shannon believes appearing in a forthcoming Superman movie proves he has grown up.
The actor is playing the role of evil General Zod in "Man of Steel" and admits although he is nervous about taking on such a responsibility, he thinks it proves he can deal with the pressure and act like an adult about it, reported femalefirst.co.uk
"It's good to do something like this. It's good to take on that kind of responsibility - be a grown up, be able to feel that pressure and be ok with it.
"And let's face it, it's not neuroscience," said the actor.
Shannon confesses he is not a fan.

We know that we can expect at least somewhat of a revisionist take on Superman when "Man of Steel" hits theaters next year, but a tap-dancing General Zod? If Michael Shannon is to be believed, Superman's Kryptonian nemesis could be borrowing a thing or two from the 2012 Oscars Best Picture winner.
On Saturday, at the biggest ceremony for independent film, the Independent Spirit Awards, Shannon arrived in support of his nominated film "Take Shelter," and stopped to speak with MTV News about his upcoming role as a super-villain.

After this year’s The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man, and The Dark Knight Rises, Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel is the next major superhero movie on deck. But will it be any good?
Obviously, it’s impossible to know this far in advance, but the one thing the filmmakers have (arguably) nailed is the casting.
Man of Steel‘s General Zod, Michael Shannon, recently talked about Henry Cavill’s take on Superman, the “edgy” tone of the film, and Zack Snyder’s cinematic resemblance to master filmmaker Martin Scorsese.
On Cavill, Shannon said (courtesy of The Playlist):

Michael Shannon wants to set the skeptics of Zack Snyder's upcoming "Superman" reboot, "Man of Steel," at ease. He has some pretty high praise for the "Sucker Punch" director, even going as far as to compare his visual style to Martin Scorsese.
"I think Zack is the master stylist, visually, I mean he’s up there with Scorsese in my book in terms of visual composition, orchestration, etc," Shannon said in a recent interview with The Playlist.
Shannon would be the man to know, too. Scorsese is executive producer on Shannon's HBO show "Boardwalk Empire," and also directed the series' pilot episode. And it does seem like a fair comparison. Despite what fans and critics may think about the films Snyder has directed, his visual style is undeniably unique and striking.

Michael Shannon (General Zod in the upcoming Man of Steel) recently revealed that he has been warned by Warner Bros. to be a little more careful about what he reveals about the secretive Superman reboot. So, talking to The Playlist recently, he made sure to let slip nothing more than praise for the British actor who will don the iconic suit in 2013's Man Of Steel. "Henry [Cavill] is a fantastic Superman, he’s got a little edge to him and he’s smart, clever and I had fun working with him." However, Shannon also had plenty of good things to say about director Zack Snyder too, best know to comic book movie fans for helming 300 and Watchmen. "I think Zack is the master stylist, visually, I mean he’s up there with Scorsese in my book in terms of visual composition, orchestration, etc." That's quite the compliment! He then went...

You'd assume an actor playing Superman's arch-nemesis would have an interest in comic books or a general understanding of geek culture. If they didn't, most would probably not admit it. Of course, Michael Shannon is not like most actors.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times blog Hero Complex, the "Boardwalk Empire" star spoke about his upcoming role as General Zod in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel."
While he may be looking forward (sort of?) to the film, Shannon expressed his confusion over the interest in his character, the movie, and the Comic-Con universe as a whole.

Comic books weave threads through all popular media. What once lived in attics and dingy strip mall stores are now headlining box offices, Broadway stages, and magazine covers. This article highlights both extremes on the spectrum of set photos, using two movie starring Amy Adams as examples. On one hand, you've got the blurry candids of Henry Cavill as Superman and Michael Shannon as General Zod on the set of Superman: Man of Steel. Not especially revealing, but Superman! Zod! On the other hand, we have gorgeous black-and-white photographs taken on the set of Paul Thomas Anderson's religious cult picture The Master. No stars or supervillains, but arguably more insightful into the process as a look at the period detail on the 1950s-era costumes and sets. Hit the jump to see the images plus background on both films. Superman: Man of Steel Alongside Cavill, Shannon, and Adams, the Superman reboot also stars Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Harry Lennix, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, and Russell Crowe. It's virtually impossible to discuss any performance by Michael Shannon without the word "intense" popping up. Consider his work as a delusional veteran in the 2004 Off-Broadway production of Tracy Letts' play "Bug," which he reprised in the 2006 film version. Or his Oscar-nominated turn as a man fresh out of a mental institution in 2008's "Revolutionary Road." Of course, TV viewers likely know him best as steely agent Nelson Van Alden on HBO's "Boardwalk Empire." With his 6-foot-3-inch frame and intimidating stare, it makes perfect sense that Shannon was cast as General Zod in the upcoming Superman reboot "Man of Steel."In writer-director Jeff Nichols' sophomore feature, "Take Shelter," Shannon's intensity is put to perfect use as Curtis Laforche, a loving husband and father who finds himself plagued by apocalyptic visions of ominous clouds and strange dark rain. Neither Curtis nor the audience is completely sure if these images are.

Before being cast as General Zod in "Man of Steel," Michael Shannon wasn't typically known for blockbuster action roles. But a lot has changed in the moviemaking industry since the first "Superman" movie was made in 1978, making it easier for the acting savant to transition to a stunt-heavy schedule.
"Unfortunately for [Shannon's role-predecessor Terence] Stamp, they didn't have CGI back then," Shannon remarked in an interview with The Province. "I'm being spared a lot of the drudgery that he had to endure. From time to time I'm in a harness, but I don't think anywhere near as much as he was."
Most of the details on the new film have been kept tightly under wraps -- it's not clear how prominent of a villain Shannon's General Zod will be, whether a scheming genius working behind the scenes or a physical brute going toe-to-toe with the last son of Krypton.

The Providence has an interview with Michael Shannon in which the pleasantly odd actor dishes some tiny tidbits on a little film he's currently working on called "Man of Steel." It's about a steel worker who makes his own superhero suit and fights crime. Oh no, wait. It's about some guy named Superman. Shannon plays it pretty close to the chest, so no serious bombshells are dropped. We get another confirmation that the film will be an origin story. We also find out that it's state of the art effects will by augmented with computer graphics somehow. Kidding aside, Shannon admits to doing a little wirework on the film, so at least some of it will look real. Shannon also confirmed that in between work on Superman and season three of "Boardwalk Empire" he will make "The Iceman" about a real life mafia hit man who killed a rather large amount of people.

Michael Shannon has been talking about the shoot for Zack Snyder’s Superman movie Man Of Steel, and although he’s remaining tight-lipped on plot details, he’s got a few interesting things to say about life on set. “Man Of Steel? It's a reboot going back to the origins of Superman.” So far, so frustrating, but Shannon is more expansive when asked about his experiences...

Need someone to play a zealot or a crackpot plagued by apocalyptic visions? Call Michael Shannon. He talks about his latest role
'If I were God," says Michael Shannon, "I would just be up there scratching my head, thinking: what the hell am I supposed to do with this? For everyone helping an old lady across the street, there's someone else bludgeoning a person to death. And sometimes they're the same. How can He separate us all out?" He stares at his latte, confounded.
The plight of the Almighty does not trouble everyone. But Shannon's sense of empathy extends even to those whose existence he doubts. Or loathes. The day we meet, he is shaken by shots of the dying Gaddafi. "It's just amazing how destructive we're capable of being." He believes vehemently in the capacity for kindness.
It is this sensitivity that makes him such a singular actor.

Shannon reportedly put the smack-down on his Australian co-star, Russel Crowe, who plays Superman’s biological father Jor-el. “I think he’s out of the hospital, although I left as soon as he couldn’t get up off the floor,” he joked. “I just said, ‘I’m done with you’, and I just walked out, so hopefully I won’t get fired from the movie. That would be awful, because they are paying me an awful lot of money,” he added. Shannon Trained Hard To Play Superman's Nemesis
Actor Michael Shannon threw himself into a strict diet and exercise regime for his villain role in the upcoming Superman movie, revealing he's "never put this much effort into fitness" for a part.
The Revolutionary Road star has been cast as General Zod, opposite British hunk Henry Cavill as the young superhero, in Superman: Man Of Steel.
The blockbuster is set to hit screens next year, and Shannon worked hard to get in shape for the role.
He tells Britain's Total Film magazine, "I've definitely never put this much effort into fitness for a part. I've never even considered it part of my job. It's not even a cosmetic thing, like I need to have a six pack.
"It's pretty intimidating to say, 'I'm a General'. They're all just very fit. I don't even know what it's like to feel like a private."...
