Time Travel is Dangerous centers around friends Ruth and Megan who run a vintage shop in Muswell Hill. When they stumble across a time machine, it occurs to them that stock is much cheaper if they ‘borrow’ from the past – well, it’s free. They don’t want to change history, or rob banks, they just want to find a nice Victorian lamp or an authentic 80s bum bag without getting sucked into the hellish time-space vortex that is “the Unreason”. The thing is, Time Travel Is Dangerous.
The movie stars Johnny Vegas, Jane Horrocks (Absolutely Fabulous), Sophie Thompson, Mark Heap, Brian Bovell, Tony Way, Guy Henry, Tom Lenk (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Laura Aikman, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and is narrated by Stephen Fry.
Here at Love Horror we got a chance to quiz some of the creatives behind the brand new Sci-Fi comedy and run them through a set of quick-fire questions.

Twice has spent the last near-decade working to become one of the most successful girl groups in the world.
In 2015, Jyp Entertainment, the Korean entertainment agency that launched hit global and domestic groups such as Wonder Girls and 2Pm, debuted their latest girl group, Twice. The nine-member group was formed through the music survival show Sixteen, which featured sixteen trainees from the company vying for a spot in the group.
In the years since Sixteen and the group’s official debut, Twice, comprised of members Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu, has found both domestic and global success. Once dubbed “the nation’s girl group,” Twice and its members are household names in South Korea. Internationally, the group’s success has exploded in recent years. They secured their first entries on the Billboard 200 Top 10 (Taste of Love) and Billboard Hot 100 (“The Feels”) in 2021 and their first No.

Debuting tomorrow at TIFF before heading for competition slots at San Sebastian and London, Laura Carreira’s On Falling looks set to be the breakout British title from this year’s festival circuit.
Recent examples include Charlotte Wells’ Aftersun and Georgia Oakley’s Blue Jean. And Carreira’s On Falling, the latest feature from Sixteen Films, depicts an equally dark and politically driven slice of contemporary society. The film follows Aurora, a young Portuguese woman who struggles to make ends meet across one week in her adopted home of Glasgow, Scotland. Long days spent grabbing packages off shelves for an anonymous e-commerce giant barely cover the bills and leave her exhausted and desperate for something more.
Per the synopsis: Aurora seeks to resist the loneliness, alienation, and ensuing small talk that begin to threaten her sense of self. Set against a landscape dominated by an algorithm-driven gig economy, designed to keep us apart.

The popular video game “Fallout” has become one of Amazon Prime Video’s most successful shows thanks to the collaborative work of its screenwriters Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner. Bringing diverse experiences in film and television, the pair have crafted a nuanced narrative set in the post-apocalyptic world inspired by the games.
Robertson-Dworet focuses on action movies but understood the need for character depth. Wagner specializes in comedy but recognized “Fallout’s” dramatic potential. They spent five years carefully designing a story entertaining to fans but accessible to new audiences. “We needed humor to balance the difficult topic,” explained Wagner.
The open-ended nature of the “Fallout” games allowed creativity but risked frustration if deviations upset loyal fans. Minor changes sparked online outrage, acknowledged Wagner. Overall freedom to develop new plots and personalities proved liberating. “We got to invent our own characters within the established world,” said Robertson-Dworet.

“Harvest,” directed by Athina Rachel Tsangari and starring Caleb Landry Jones, has been acquired by Mubi in several key territories ahead of its premiere in competition at Venice Film Festival.
Mubi will distribute the film in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria, Benelux and Latin America with release plans to be announced in the coming months.
Based on Jim Crace’s Booker prize shortlisted novel of the same name, “Harvest” takes place “over seven hallucinatory days” when a “village with no name, in an undefined time and place, disappears,” according to its official synopsis. “Townsman-turned-farmer Walter Thirsk and befuddled lord of the manor Charles Kent are childhood friends about to face an invasion from the outside world: the trauma of modernity.”
Along with Landry Jones — who broke out in Martin McDonagh’s “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” and won the Cannes best actor award for his performance in 2021’s “Nitram” — “Harvest” stars Harry Melling,...

Principal photography on the Studiocanal UK, Sixteen Films and Why Not Productions drama, which stars Dave Turner (Sorry We Missed You) and newcomer Ebla Mari and is written by Paul Laverty, began today in the North East of England.
Loach’s previous two films — I, Daniel Blake and Sorry We Missed You — were also shot in the same part of the UK.
The Old Oaks is based around a pub that is not only the last local standing, but also the only remaining public space where people can meet in a once thriving mining community that has now fallen on hard times after 30 years of decline.
Landlord Tj Ballantyne (Turner) hangs on by his fingertips, and his predicament is made harder when the pub becomes contested territory after the unexpected arrival of Syrian refugees. He makes an unlikely...
