I Know What You Did Last Summer will reunite Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr for a legacy sequel, that will almost certainly have to ignore the original sequels. I Know What You Did Last Summer was part of a wave of 1990s self-referential horror flicks, alongside the Scream movies or Urban Legend. That said, I Know What You Did Last Summer - whose original ending was quite lame - was less meta than its contemporaries, and played as more of a mystery thriller. The cast soon returned for the poorly-received I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, and were once set to return for a third outing too.
As a refresher, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer ended with Hewitt's Julie seemingly killing series villain Ben Willis (Aka The Fisherman). However, the final scene - which could be a nightmare - has Ben return to life and attack her.

Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) didn't just walk away from his happily ever after with fellow psychopath Love Quinn — he burned it to the ground. He poisoned his wife, framed her for his murder, abandoned his son, and fled the country to pursue another woman. While all of that definitely accomplished the goal of a jaw-dropping finale, this was still a tricky sendoff for the third season of "You."
Though his specific brand of chaos has always been entertaining, Joe's cycle is a tad repetitive: boy meets girl, boy stalks girl, boy invades girl's life and commits horrendous murders in the name of love, and eventually, boy murders girl because she sees who he truly is. Love Quinn was the first hiccup in the pattern. In her, Joe accidentally found a kindred spirit — a passionate killer, so ready to bury bodies with him that it was like staring into a mirror.

Not only did we surprise Screambox subscribers with Abel Ferrara’s (Bad Lieutenant, King of New York) 1993 sci-fi horror classic Body Snatchers, but we’re also celebrating the 1986 slasher classic Killer Party, both streaming right now on Screambox.
It’s an early April Fool’s Day on Screambox when the sisters of Sigma Alpha Pi believe they’ve found the perfect place to throw a party: the abandoned fraternity house where a guillotined pledge once lost his head in a hazing gone awry.
“But shortly after their revelry begins, the student body count starts to rise as the vengeful pledge returns from the grave and makes it a party to die for.”

1923’s People We Care About body count climbs two, possibly three notches in this week’s episode. Sheesh, being attached to the Duttons really isn’t good for one’s longevity.
Read on to see who definitely doesn’t make it through “Ghost of Zebrina” (and who might not be around come next Sunday).

One of the most fruitful collaborations since Spielberg and Williams will re-team for a fifth time when Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross score David Fincher’s 2023 film, The Killer. (Via The Playlist).
The two Nine Inch Nail bandmates have collaborated with Fincher on all four of his previous films, starting with 2010’s Oscar-winning score for The Social Network and continuing with the Grammy-winning The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, then Gone Girl, and most recently, Mank.
The Killer is based on a French graphic of the same name (Le Tueur) by artist Luc Jacamon and writer Matz. This neo-noir is due out November 10th on Netflix, and will star Michael Fassbender as an assassin who starts to psychologically buckle after he develops a conscience. The cast also includes Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte, and Tilda Swinton.
