JoJo's Bizarre Adventuretends to be merciful to its cast of characters, with the Joestar heroes knocking out enemy Stand users without actually killing them in most cases. Most of the Joestar heroes and their best JoBro allies tend to survive as well, which allows most story arcs to end on a reasonably positive note. Still, even this wacky anime is willing to kill off some of its characters to create an emotional impact and raise the tension now and then.
