Djo, a musical project by Stranger Things star Joe Keery, is giving fans one final peek into the world of The Crux. On Wednesday, Keery released his Lindsey Buckingham-inspired single “Potion,” which arrives ahead of his second album, out Friday.

“‘Potion’ is like your favorite pair of blue jeans,” said Keery in a statement. “I’d been working on Travis-picking when I wrote this song, so it’s kind of like if Harry Nilsson and Lindsey Buckingham had a baby.” (Travis-picking is a guitar technique, notable in many Buckingham songs.

Val Kilmer died on Tuesday just before the Top Gun actor was set to walk the red carpet at the Beverly Hills Film Festival.

Kilmer died in Los Angeles on Tuesday at age 65 of pneumonia, his daughter, actress Mercedes Kilmer, told The New York Times.

When Steven Spielberg lends his name to anything, expectations are immediately juiced. Any new project from the man who brought us transporting blockbusters like "Jaws," "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," and "Jurassic Park" carries with it the promise of the extraordinary. When he's directing, that promise is almost always fulfilled. When he's producing movies, his batting average is very respectable. As for television, that's a bit of a crapshoot.

Spielberg actually got his professional start by directing episodes of "Night Gallery" and "Marcus Welby, M.D.," before breaking through with the brilliantly directed TV movie "Duel" (which was so good it received a theatrical release). You expect a bit of inconsistency from an anthology series, but there seemed to be a ceiling to how good an "Amazing Stories" episode could be.

Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is one such anime that has been somewhat criminally underrated. Even though it was released back in October 2024, this 25-episode anime television adaptation of Uoto’s historical manga has since been largely overlooked by fans and critics.

But what makes this anime so underrated? The answer is pretty simple: it’s the stunning art style, great historical themes, and obviously a great story. Not to forget the beautiful visual storytelling adding another layer of intrigue to the show. Despite all this, Orb did not receive enough attention, and has been quite far away from anime fans’ radar.
