Tarzán en las minas del rey Salomón

TARZAN IN KING SOLOMON'S MINES is an odd amalgam of the Burroughs character with the Haggard storyline, disappointing on both fronts but particularly in the case of the latter. We get only a few lacklustre cave scenes and they're hugely disappointing. As for Tarzan himself, he's an athletic but skinny guy here with no discernable acting prowess, just wandering through the woods unconvincingly and occasionally asked to interact with some stock safari park footage of exotic animals. German actress Nadiuska plays a woman hunting her missing brother while Paul Naschy plays an evil hunter secretly smuggling weapons. It's really bad, even by the standards of low budget cinema, which is a surprise given Jose Luis Merino's KILLERS OF THE CASTLE OF BLOOD was pretty decent.
