    The best

The Good: I have to give credit where it's due; Don't Worry Darling is a fun, daring movie with some great attributes. The performances, particularly by Florence Pugh and Chris Pine, are honestly great. Styles does surprisingly well too, being a compelling and interesting character. He and Pugh have great physical chemistry - even if it doesn't seem to go much beyond that - and I can see how their scenes perhaps, um...led to tension of set (if you know the story behind this movie, you'll get what I mean).

This movie looks fantastic. Victory, the fictional desert oasis this film takes place in, is a gorgeous little 1950s inspired American suburb; the costumes, the food, the houses, they all look great and you'd be forgiven to for seeing the appeal of a place like it. There are some scenes that look so good, I almost wanted them to go on longer just to spend a little more time in these places (i.e. The dance hall, the clubhouse). One thing I've noticed in 2022 is that we're beginning to see technology, technique, and will come together, producing some of the most beautiful looking films I've seen in years come out. For all its problems, Don't Worry Darling is shot very well and looks very expensive.

    Polish Robin Hood

Janosik is a semi-legendary character who took from the rich and gave to the poor, or so the legend says. He came from Slovakia, but if you ask a random Pole on the street what nationality Janosik was, they will answer that he was Polish. The reason for this state of affairs is both the film and the series of which this work is a short summary. Janosik, a cult film (and series) in Poland, with Marek Perepeczko in the title role, was rebroadcast on television for over four decades and raised many generations. It is not a masterpiece in any sense of the word, but it is a well-known and carefully presented story of a noble individual who must act outside the law to protect the poor and defenseless from the oppressors who create the law. Beautiful shots of polish mountains, costumes and interior design from the era give this story a unique style, unheard of in Anglo-Saxon cinematography. If you like or are interested in Slavic culture, this is a must-see. However, if you don't like these vibes, give it a rest.

Propably the best Polish film / TV series

This film is about Polish legend - Janosik, whose adventures was similar to Robin Hood. Janosik and his gang helped poor people being under the reign of bad people, evil count and Murgrabia. This movie is based on TV series, it's just the whole story held in two-hours movie. All film is great. There are one of most popular Polish actors in the seventies, including Witold Pyrkosz, Bogusz Bilewski, Marian Kociniak, M. Czechowicz and young Perepeczko, promising handsome and well-built actor. The directing is great, all film is interesting and full of action. There is one minus for all foreign watchers - Janosik lived with Polish highlanders, whose had a very specific local dialect, so if you live outside the Poland and think you know Polish language, it doesn't mean that you understand this film. Even Poles had sometimes problems with understanding this dialog, so try to watch film with your national subtitles.

Great Directing!!! But didn't understand a Word of It!

Okay, I'm Polish - well, I speak and understand it and my parents are Polish. But for some some reason I didn't understand a word of it. I remember the story which was great - different from the film though. And this film had excellent directing. It was very old and sound wasn't the best. I have the DVD that I imported from Poland and it doesn't have subtitles so I was disappointed. If you understand Polish and you don't mind low budget films, than this may be for you. The DVD had no special features and was kinda disappointing. It was not in Widescreen, but the quality was watchable. The film itself looked boring. I say it was OKAY!!!
