A Dutch remake of Ryan's Hope called Onderweg naar Morgen (English: On the Way to Tomorrow) aired in the Netherlands from January 3, 1994 to May 13, 2010. The remake used the original 200-page bible for Ryan's Hope as its starting point.
One of the few American daytime soap operas to take place in a real-life locale (in this case, New York City). Most other soaps are set in fictitious cities and towns (though often inspired by real locales).
The show was originally titled City Hospital and later A Rage to Love during pre-production.
