When Bubba is in the sauna in the girl's locker room, he watches a girl with long dark hair held back by a chrome barrette leave the shower with a blonde girl, go to her locker, and dry off to get dressed. When he turns and looks toward the shower, the same dark-haired girl can be seen in the shower again.

During the beach scene Jim and Chris are seen in the water completely submerged with their hair wet then in the following scene as they disrobe prior to having sex both have dry hair.

During the riding class, in one shot Jordan can be seen riding with a hat on, topless. In the next shot, the hat is gone and her hair is down.

During the finale, a number of the female students interrupt a graduation ceremony by turning around and lifting their gowns to flash skimpy underwear at the speaker. Phoebe Cates' panties are visibly lower in the second shot of the line-up.

When the coach yells out "illegal use of the hands" to someone out on the dance floor, she gives the wrong corresponding hand signal. She makes the gesture for "holding" instead.

During the beach scene with Jim (Matthew Modine) and Chris (Phoebe Cates), gaffers tape is visible on Phoebe's left breast.

When the three boys fall outside the dorm window, they land on an air mattress covered with leaves, made to initially look like the rest of the dead leaf-covered ground under the window. You can see the whole mattress move when they land, and the leaves are mostly blown off by their landing, and after that you can see the mattress.

At the beginning when Jim, Roy and Bubba are standing atop each other to peek into Jordan's shower, you can barely see the wire supporting Michael Zorek's (Bubba) right shoulder, and you can see the wire pulling on his coat.
