The following contains major spoilers from FBI Season 7, Episode 14, "Hitched," which debuted Tuesday, March 11 on CBS. It also contains discussion of suicide.
FBI Season 7, Episode 14, "Hitched" is one of the most exciting episodes of the season. What could have been a melodramatic premise -- Oa Zidan having to save his wounded girlfriend on a vacation gone wrong -- turns out to be a mini-action movie crammed into 42 minutes. It's a bit like Air Force One on a passenger train, with a couple of concessions for TV.
"Hitched" revolves around Oa and Gemma taking a train ride to Niagara Falls, only to learn that there are hijackers aboard. Who the suspects are and what they want deviates enough from the norm to get CBS viewers invested...

The following contains major spoilers from FBI Season 7, Episode 11, "Shelter," which debuted Tuesday, Feb. 10 on CBS.
FBI Season 7, Episode 11, "Shelter" has the potential to be a great episode, but the CBS procedural simply runs out of time to make that happen. What begins as a bog-standard story about drug cartels gets very interesting with the introduction of a DEA.deputy chief, and actor Zeeko Zaki is once again in excellent form. Yet the best twists are left too late.
"Shelter" begins with a mass shooting at an Astoria homeless shelter, which turns out to be a place close to Oa Zidan's heart. Similar to Episode 10, "Redoubt," this is a way for FBI to dig into the personal feelings of one character. Unlike "Redoubt," the story is better developed,...

The following contains major spoilers from FBI Season 7, Episode 8, "Riptide," which debuted Tuesday, Dec. 17 on CBS.
FBI Season 7, Episode 8, "Riptide" has all the hallmarks of a midseason finale. It offers up plenty of action sequences, has an emotional subplot for one of the main characters, and concludes on a note meant to shock the audience. But the most interesting part of the hour is actually its casting choices, because the episode brings back someone from perhaps the most underrated TV crime drama ever.
"Riptide" starts out focusing on an international robbery crew, but pivots away from that into a story about police corruption. It has enough plot twists and turns to keep the audience on the edge of their seats and the acting is solid throughout. There are some aspects that the audience will have cause to debate and disagree with, but ultimately it pauses the Dick Wolf drama on a high note.

Below, Zaki opens up about that moment, how Oa will be dealing with it, Oa telling Maggie (Missy Peregrym) about being a prisoner of war (and Clay’s connection), what’s to come in his relationship with Gemma (Comfort Clinton), and more. After making his old army buddy (Guy Lockard) his Ci earlier this season on FBI, Oa’s (Zeeko Zaki) going to be working alongside him in the fall finale. In “Riptide,” airing on December 17, three customs officers are shot dead in a cargo heist. “Along the way, I run into Clay, and as he’s now currently my informant, I am going to work with him on this, and our trust and our sort of situation, there’s some twists and turns of that in this episode,” Zaki tells TV Insider. He’s enjoying what bringing in the character of Clay has meant for the story this season. It’s “showing another layer that can kind of be personal,” he says. “It was personally just a great opportunity to work with him, and getting for the characters to work together in more of a case situation is exciting to see.

Two years before Sylvester Stallone walloped Hollywood with the sleeper smash "Rocky" (despite the film's studio not wanting him to star in it), the struggling actor co-starred in the ensemble coming-of-age comedy "The Lords of Flatbush." The film is about four best friends who revel in their greaser personae, gleefully getting into all kinds of trouble as they confront their looming passage into adulthood. It's no "American Graffiti," but it does give the viewer a gritty sense of what it must've been like to live by one's wits and fists on the not-always-hospitable streets of Brooklyn in the late 1950s.
50 years later, Stallone is the biggest name in the cast, but at the time of the film's release in 1974, he was overshadowed by newcomer Henry Winkler, who'd just made a splashy television debut as Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli on the ABC sitcom "Happy Days." Other notable names in the ensemble are...
