Although the subject matter about teenage suicide can at times be highly depressing, this After School Special handles the topic with much care and sensitivity. David (Lee Montgomery - Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Mutant, Ben, Burnt Offerings, Prime Risk, Into the Fire) and Craig (Robert MacNaughton - E.T., I am the Cheese) are students with nothing in common, except for the fact they both wish to end their youthful lives. Brilliantly performed all round, especially by Montgomery. Terrific in all aspects and highly recommended.

Look, it's very important that we start telling the truth *now*, when David Goldman went over that hill in his car, he wasn't going off to Never-Neverland, his bones were broken, his blood was spilled, he *hurt* down there, until he died. You want to write this story, you put that in.
