Young Sheldon may be nearing the finish line — but that doesn’t have to mark the end of the Cooper family’s on-screen journey.

Prior to Hollywood’s dual strikes, TVLine reported that preliminary talks had begun about whether Season 7 would be the Big Bang Theory offshoot’s last. And it makes sense! Assuming the prequel’s narrative keeps at a steady pace, Sheldon will turn 14 next year — the age at which, per Big Bang’s previously established timeline, the future Nobel Prize winner moves from Medford, Texas, to Pasadena, Calif., to begin his graduate studies at the California Institute of Technology.

Despite The Big Bang Theory being an ensemble series, its true protagonist was clearly Sheldon. The socially-inept genius was usually at the center of its narratives. CBS releases new details about the much-anticipated Young Sheldon season 6 finale, which create an important Big Bang Theory plot hole. TV's No. 1 comedy's ongoing year is slowly coming to a close with only a handful of episodes left before its culmination. Despite the fact that there are a few outings still left in its current run, plot information about what to expect from the Young Sheldon season 6 finale have been rolled out.

A new report from TVLine reveals the official synopses for Young Sheldon season 6's special one-hour finale. Set to air on May 18, the outings will, surprisingly, focus on Sheldon's move to Germany after his college graduation. While the progression of things makes sense, the finer details create some plot inconsistencies with The Big Bang Theory. The plot details are as follows:
