Rob Lowe has been in the acting game since the 1980s. He got his start on screen in the ABC sitcom "A New Kind of Family" and quickly rose to fame following his role on the show. Rob was grouped in with Hollywood's "Brat Pack" of young actors, which included Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore, and Emilio Estevez, after starring in classic films like "The Outsiders," "St. Elmo's Fire," and "Square Dance."
Rob's career slowed slightly during the 1990s, but understandably so, as he welcomed two sons with wife Sheryl Berkoff: Matthew Edward and John Owen Lowe. After the births of his children, the actor balanced his career with his fatherly duties, and is arguably most known for his roles as Sam Seaborn in "The West Wing," which aired from 1999-2003 and Chris Traeger in the beloved NBC sitcom "Parks and Recreation."

The founder of an Afrobeats label is publicly demanding that Bad Bunny give Nigerian artist Joeboy and his producer credit on the track “Enséñame a Bailar,” a song off the reggaeton star’s 2022 smash LP Un Verano Sin Ti.
In a call-to-action that accuses Bad Bunny and his record company Rimas Music of copyright infringement, Mr. Eazi — founder of emPawa Africa — claims that “Enséñame a Bailar” both interpolates and samples Joeboy’s “Empty My Pocket.”

It's been a tale of two careers for Rob Lowe. After making his feature film debut via Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 film The Outsiders, Lowe went on to enjoy a very productive movie career throughout the 80s and 90s. For his work on the film, Lowe earned one Golden Globe nomination following his performance in the 1987 film Square Dance.

"Outside a mountain town grappling with a series of abductions and murders, Paul (Antonio Banderas), a reclusive writer, struggles to start what he hopes will be a career-saving screenplay. Home is where the heart is, and it seems Lucifer's heart has found its home.
Did Lucifer come to L.A. looking for love? That seems to be the implication according to Dr. Martin on Lucifer Season 2 Episode 9, but Lucifer's avoidance of the truth may spell disaster for Chloe if Charlotte has her way.
While I thought it was a great cliffhanger to the next episode, I'm going to guess that somehow Maze or someone is going to stop Charlotte from pushing that button.
We all know that there's no way Chloe is going anywhere. Still, it was pretty intense, wasn't it?
I loved that Chloe was the one to save the day not once, but twice. She really is a true friend to Lucifer, and I'm getting the feeling that she's starting to have more than "just friends" feelings for her partner.
Lucifer's always had feelings for Chloe, though...

Kensi's awake, but that doesn't mean Deeks isn't still sleeping at the hospital as NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 continues. Also in episode six, titled "Home is Where the Heart Is," what starts as a look into a home invasion ends with a teenager in trouble, a maintenance man who is clearly hiding something and more than one explosion.
Elsewhere in the hour, it's Deeks' turn to question what's going on with Eric and Nell when he walks into Ops and finds her hitting his hands -- to build up his controller grip strength, they try to explain -- but he can't leave them to what he sees as some sort of dominatrix/S&M thing (understandable considering the slapping and the order to do it "harder") because the doors don't open if he's not facing them. (He learns something new every day.)...

[Watch] 'NCIS: Los Angeles' Sneak Peek: Why Doesn't Callen Want to Go to the Football Game with Sam?
Good news: Kensi's awake. Bad news: the road to recovery is going to be a tough one as NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 continues. At the end of episode 5, Kensi woke up, but while she could squeeze Deeks' hand with her right, she couldn't with her left. As the promo for "Home Is Where the Heart Is" suggests, that may not be the only obstacle she'll face when it comes to returning to work.
As for the case in episode 6, after a maintenance man saved the life of a lieutenant commander, the team uncovers his dark past, one that puts a local teenager in trouble. Plus, Sam has to decide which colleague to take with him to the La football game.

This is a reprint of our review from the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Home is where the heart is, and love, longing, and grieving for the departed fragments of our lives we can never return to are lovingly realized in John Crowley’s exquisitely crafted and beautiful “Brooklyn.” Based on the novel by Irish author Colm Tóibín, and delicately adapted by Nick Hornby, “Brooklyn” tells the story of Eilis Lacey, an Irish immigrant who travels to America in the early 1950s for a more prosperous life. Living quietly in a small rural Irish town, opportunities are scarce, and Eilis (Saoirse Ronan) feels she has little choice when a unexpected chance to move abroad at the behest of a vicar presents itself. But the unplanned adventure to America is a sudden one, and leaving behind her beloved sister (Fiona Glascott), fragile mother (Jane Brennan), and the warm familiarity she came of age...

Home Improvement is one of nine collections of short films presented at the Tribeca Film Festival. These six documentary short films are centered on the saying, “Home is where the heart is,” and all of the subjects in their own way are finding ways to improve and contribute to their respective homes. In Body Team 12 and The Trials of Constance Baker Motley, home is country, and it is worth putting one’s life on the line to make that country better for future generations. In The Gnomist, The Lights, and The House is Innocent, home is smaller communities like cities or neighborhoods, and art and humor can transform a forest into a magical place, a house into a Christmas spectacle, or a notorious murder house into a real home. Even Interview with a Free Man asks whether these men can meaningfully contribute and find their place in society after incarceration.

Kaci wishes Ravenswood would hurry up with the curse revelations. Here's her review of this week's episode...
This review contains spoilers.
1.8 I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
After last week's stabbing shenanigans, Remy spends this week's episode in a sleep clinic, where she continues to be haunted by the man in the dark hat. It provides us some helpful backstory: namely, that Remy was visited by the man when she was a little girl as she slept. Mostly, anyway, because one time, she managed to wake up. Since his return, Remy remains as committed as ever to seeing her dreams through, since the information she's been gaining through them has helped the team learn more about the curse. It's really great to see her dad and Luke support her in this episode, especially Luke. I admit that he and Remy never really "clicked" for me...

Ravenswood recap: “Home is Where the Heart Is (Seriously — Check the Floorboards)” By Aleina McGettrick In this week’s episode of ABC Family‘s Ravenswood, the group is still trying to figure out more about the pact that the town made in 1917. After receiving more knowledge of what happened that night from Remy’s dream they know the contents of the pact; however, now they are trying to discover who is holding all of the power. They all assume that Mr. Collins or someone else in the Collins family is the bad guy, and we may even agree with them, but … Continue reading →

Ravenswood includes the parents this week, and leaves Kaci with even more questions. Here's her review...
This review contains spoilers.
1.7 Home Is Where The Heart Is - Seriously Check The Floorboards
In this week's episode of Ravenswood, someone should give the parents a stiff drink and a pat on the back.
Okay, I joke, but really, the parents in town are a focal point of this episode and it puts into perspective just how heinous the townspeople who made the pact really were. When we see Remy's dad react with sympathy, not anger, after she slices his arm with a knife while sleepwalking, we're watching a father who loves his daughter unconditionally and will quite literally shed blood without reserve for her. Think about that and then remember that some of the townspeople who made the pact that sends five teenagers to their death were parents themselves.

"Ravenswood" weaves an interesting web with "Home Is Where the Heart Is -- Seriously Check the Floorboards." Read on to find out who else might be involved with the curse.
The Curse
We all know that Dillon and Max are evil and up to no good, but the show hinted pretty hard this week that Tess and Springer are also involved ... somehow.
Tess reaches out to Olivia, trying to be friends and telling Liv she broke up with Springer. But not five minutes later, Springer confronts Tess and snarls, "I have to take it from Dillon, but I don't have to take it from you. Being nice to Olivia? That isn't gonna save you."
Springer tries to talk to Olivia about a lot of things, but he's agitated and a little incoherent. Liv runs from him and into the street, where Springer follows and is hit by a car -- with Tess behind the wheel.

In last week's episode, Esther's journal revealed that a preacher-who-must-not-be-named talked the town elders into signing the pact that created the curse. Meanwhile, Remy's dreams shed light on past events, including the fact that Original Caleb and Original Miranda witnessed the pact-signing. And Miranda tried to haunt Mrs. Grunwald for information, but learned that the mysterious woman already had a spirit visitor.
In this week's episode, "Home is Where the Heart is -- Seriously Check the Floorboards," Caleb's father comes to town, Miranda figures out Mrs Grunwald's connection to her spirit guardian and the cops come a-calling to the Matheson home. Read on to find out if Ravenswood continues to keep us guessing.

Did you know that Heathers screened in competition at Sundance? Even I wasn’t aware of this (or I’d forgotten), and I swear I’m one of the movie’s biggest fans. It’s not a fact revealed on the DVD commentary, apparently. It’s not even listed among the release dates on IMDb or Wikipedia, both of which tend to include major film festival appearances. The dark teen movie classic didn’t premiere in Park City, but following its debut in Milan, Italy, at the Mifed film market in October 1988, it went on to Sundance (then still known as the U.S. Film Festival) in January 1989, where it faced such features as Steven Soderbergh’s sex, lies and videotape (winner of the inaugural audience award), Martin Donovan’s Apartment Zero and Nancy Savoca’s barely remembered True Love, which won the dramatic jury prize (nice going 1989 jury member Jodie Foster!). According...

Hey, it wouldn’t be a ‘Pretty Little Liars’ spin-off without a few dead bodies, right?
“The Five” has already faced its fair share of enemies — dead, alive and everything in-between — but when Ravenswood returns with new episodes Jan. 7, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and his friends will find themselves up against a new threat: the boys in blue!
‘Ravenswood’: Luke Arrested On Winter Premiere
In this first-look photo, obtained exclusively by HollywoodLife.com, Luke (Brett Dier) is being hauled off in a Ravenswood police car — and something tells me they’re not taking him downtown just to give him a medal. What kind of trouble could Luke be getting himself into?
Perhaps the episode’s official log line can offer a clue:
‘Home is Where the Heart Is (Seriously – Check the Floorboards)’ – The Ravenswood police make a surprising discovery at the Matheson home, and Olivia and Luke are unnerved by Collins’ connection to their mother.

Home is where the heart is.
That sounds so much better than “Home is where the bile ducts are,” but the latter anatomical metaphor seems better suited to August: Osage County, the star-studded adaptation of Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer-winning play about an Oklahoma family “marinating in its own miserablism,” as EW’s Owen Gleiberman so aptly phrased it.
In the film, which arrives on Christmas Day, Meryl Streep plays the harpyish matriarch who presides over her husband’s funeral — he committed suicide — and drives her three daughters up the wall. Julia Roberts, Juliette Lewis, and Julianne Nicholson play the daughters, who...

Last season on Beauty And The Beast, Tess Vargas (Nina Lisandrello) had the biggest shock of her life. She found out that her partner’s boyfriend was a beast — literally. In Tess’ world, that should just not be possible. Humans are not beasts. Yet what her brain were telling her and what her eyes told her were distinctly at war. Still trying to assimilate to this new reality where human-beasts are actually possible, Tess returns in Season 2 determined to do two things: (1) help her friend Cat (Kristin Kreuk) any way she can and (2) get their professional careers back on track. This all sounds easier than it is to achieve. Fortunately, Tess is a resourceful woman. In a recent press interview from the set, Nina Lisandrello candidly talked about the hurdles ahead for Tess and whether or not there may be love blossoming in the air for the heart-broken detective.

Home is where the heart is! When Bill and Giuliana Rancic started planning how they would decorate their dream home in Brentwood, Calif., they settled on two main themes: Clean lines and comfort. The latter was especially important since when the couple (who also have a pad in Chicago) moved into their new digs, they did so with their infant son, Duke. Luckily, the new parents created the exact balance they were hopping for thanks to a little help from interior designer Lonni Paul. "Lonni loves to show you something pricey and then something that is a great bargain," the E! News host shares in the 2013 October issue of Traditional Home magazine. "It's the testament of someone who truly...

Home is where the heart is. Or if you're Justin Bieber, it's where the party's at. In recent months the singer has angered his neighbors in the ultra-exclusive Oaks gated community, with loud parties and reckless driving. Of course, not all of those reported complaints were about the singer himself. In fact, some of the time the 19-year-old wasn't even home! But nevertheless his $6.5 million mega mansion remains a hot spot for wild shindigs. So what makes this place a complete playground? For starters, it's massive: 9,214 square feet including six bedrooms, seven baths, a pool, and a home theater. That's just the beginning. From killer views to a kitchen fit for a...

Home is where the heart is, and for Jennifer Aniston and fiancé Justin Theroux, that's New York City. In town to promote Living Proof hair care products, Aniston and Theroux shared a busy weekend together - hopping from a Broadway show to Sunday brunch. On Sunday, Aniston, 44, and Theroux, 41, were photographed holding hands as they walked to brunch at Fred's At Barneys New York, a restaurant that serves American and Italian cuisine inside the high-end department store. Wearing a green jacket and sunglasses, Theroux seemed to be enjoying the sunny May day as Aniston covered up with an oversize hat and sunglasses.
