Blood Hunters #5 by Erica Schultz, Chris Campana, and Robert Gill is the final installment in the Blood Hunters’ mission to drive back Varnae’s remaining vampiric forces from New York City. After Dagger is kidnapped by the Bloodcoven, Elsa Bloodstone, Hallows’ Eve, and White Widow launch a full offensive against the godly vampires.

When the fight begins to turn against the heroes’ favor, Bloodstone equips Hallows’ Eve’s Captain America mask. Magically, Elsa is given Steve Rogers’s powers and dons a new patriotic suit. Still bound to her Bloodgem, Elsa becomes an enchanted super soldier, and she loves the experience.

As Marvel continues to expand its cinematic universe, several types of magic now exist in the MCU. Most have their own visual designs that allow them to be distinguished from the rest, while their abilities and power levels are typically unique to each other. But what makes them different, and which is the most powerful magic in the MCU?

Over the years, the importance of magic has changed quite a bit in the MCU. Not only is it the primary weapon of Doctor Strange and the Masters of the Mystic Arts, but its also become an important plot device in a number of Marvel projects. In addition to the Doctor Strange movies, its been a factor in the Thor franchise, WandaVision, and Eternals.

It turned out to be a part of the story for Disney+s Moon Knight show too, weaponized by Ethan Hawkes Arthur Harrow against Oscar Isaacs Steven Grant.

Elsa Bloodstone is known in the Marvel Universe as the Worlds Greatest Monster Hunter, however, despite her profession and renowned skills, she has never been as hateful towards Marvels monsters as one may think at least, until now. Deep-cut fans of Marvel Comics have likely begun several pertinent conversations with the following question: if you could adapt any Marvel character, no matter how obscure, into a live-action feature film, which one would you choose? These conversations were mostly held during the 2010s heyday of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, when most of the company's star characters had already been given the cinematic treatment. Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four, X-Men, and the Avengers were all taken, and even some more obscure characters, like the Guardians of the Galaxy, were being given the A-list polish, so Marvel fans had to get creative in their nerdy, self-indulgent postulations.

Unlike their golden run on the big screen till phase 3, Marvel didn’t quite replicate its huge success on the small screen, with most of the Disney Plus MCU shows earning less-than-stellar reception. While fans have complained about MCU’s recent catalog being bloated following the abundance of TV shows, Marvel has also abandoned an overwhelming number of TV shows over the years.

This involves several renowned superheroes, including a Captain Britain show, which was greenlit long before the rise of Disney Plus and MCU TV shows.

Back in 2016, rumors regarding a Captain Britain show being in the early stages of development emerged. Poster artist Clara McAvoy claimed she was being paid to do a promo poster for it, assuring fans an official announcement might be heading our way in early 2017 or late 2016. Unfortunately, it never happened, leading many to speculate Marvel might have put the kibosh on it.

After a twenty-five year wait, Full Moon was finally able to get writer/director Ted Nicolaou‘s Subspecies V: Blood Rise through production and out into the world last year – and now that the franchise is complete, Full Moon founder Charles Band has revealed that his company will be releasing a Subspecies Blu-ray box set next month… and the movies are going to be housed in a wooden coffin!

Band made the announcement in an episode of his YouTube series Full Moon Universe, and the video can be watched at the bottom of this article. The wooden coffin box set will contain Blu-ray copies of Subspecies, Bloodstone: Subspecies II, Bloodlust: Subspecies III, the Subspecies-adjacent Vampire Journals, Subspecies 4: Bloodstorm, and Subspecies V: Blood Rise, plus a CD copy of the first movie’s musical score and a glow-in-the-dark Tiny Terrors action figure of the vampire Radu.

One of the highlights of this year’s Halloween celebration from Disney+ is the return of Marvel Studios’ special Werewolf by Night, which claws its way back into our lives in Full Color.

The Disney+ Halloween special was unleashed last year in black & white, giving it a classic horror throwback feel. This will be the first time you’ll be able to watch the special in color.

Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was met with a mixed response. Fans and critics alike were frustrated by the lack of focus on a new Endgame. First announced in 2019, the Full Moon production Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama 2 has now finally started filming… and so has another Full Moon production that was originally announced in 2019, Subspecies V: Blood Rise! Franchise director Ted Nicolaou and cast members Denice Duff and Kevin Spirtas have confirmed on social media that Subspecies V is filming in Serbia, with Duff back in the role of Michelle, Spirtas back as Mel, and Anders Hove once again playing the iconic vampire Radu.
