Scs Entertainment has released the official trailer for Arachnado, an upcoming horror movie with a premise that's as bizarre as it sounds. Coming to VOD and DVD next month, the movie is directed by Dustin Ferguson the filmmaker behind such other bizarre horror titles as Los Angeles Shark Attack, Angry Asian Murder Hornets, and Ebola Rex. You would certainly expect for Arachnado to be just as insane with a title like that, and the trailer suggests that will certainly be the case. You can take a look at it below.
The cast of Arachnado includes Mel Novak (Bruce Lee's Game of Death), Deborah Dutch (Hard to Die), Brinke Stevens (Slumber Party Massacre), and Shawn C. Phillips (Ghost Shark). Other cast members include Sheri Davis (Angry Asian Murder Hornets), Jennifer Nangle (Malvolia: The Queen of Screams), Mike Ferguson (Death Squad), Cali June (Monster Force Zero), and Albie Robles (Stickman) as the voice of DJ Danny.

Exclusive: Sid Gentle Films is looking to build on the international smash hit Killing Eve with another crime adaptation. The British producer has secured the rights to Watching You, the first installment in Swedish author Jan Arnald’s latest series of detective novels, Deadline can reveal.
Better known by his pen name Arne Dahl, the Scandinavian writer first published Watching You in 2016 and the novel tells the story of Stockholm-based detective, Sam Berger, and his attempts to find a serial killer following the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl. As the case unravels, it reveals sinister connections with Berger’s own life.
Berger has gone on to appear in two other novels, Hunted and You Are Next, much like the recurring characters in Dahl’s Intercrime novels, which were the subject of a major Scandi-noir TV series last decade, titled Arne Dahl. That series was made by The Bridge producer Filmlance...

The year 2019 was a particularly good year for Brits in Hollywood, culminating in half of the Primetime Emmys heading to the other side of the pond with the likes of Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Succession creator Jesse Armstrong winning big.
British and Irish writers have always done well in the U.S. both in television and on the feature side, but the last few years have been particularly kind to those making the 6,000-mile trek to Tinseltown, from The Mentalist and Gotham’s Bruno Heller to Saving Mr Banks and Terra Nova writer Kelly Marcel and Catastrophe co-creator Sharon Horgan.
As such, Deadline is taking a look at the next generation of British and Irish writers who are making waves in the UK and stand a good chance of landing a hit U.S. series.
