On the eve of a big US-Japan trade summit, a reporter gets a hot tip that the Japanese-American head of a big aerospace firm will be selling trade secrets to a Japanese contact. Intent on getting a scoop, the reporter hires private investigator John Blaylock to help her find out just what information is being handed over. In the course of snooping, the pair are discovered, but not before they learn that the Japanese contact is a member of the Yakuza. When the aerospace executive turns up dead after an apparent suicide, the investigators realize that some very big secrets are being kept by some very important people.

Performances carry it

This is a really nice thriller. It has the tension and it is really well made. The action even tho its Barely there is amazing. Thomas ian Griffith is a goated martial Artist. The writting is good. It is a unique story and has a lot of twists in it.

The directing is also good.but the thing that is the best are the performances they are just so good and well done. Especially Thomas Ian Griffith so good. Mary page keller also did a fantastic job. Now there are some cons. It does not have a lot of action. It is not a big problem but it would be nice if there would be more fights. We also needed more characters but it had a low budget. Overall you should definitely give it a watch.

During a scene in the mortuary, the tannoy voice calls for Dr David, Dr Blair and Dr J Hamilton. This audio clip is similar to that appearing at the beginning of the Progressive Metal album Operation Mindcrime by Queensryche (1988). This perhaps foreshadows later events in the film, given the parallel themes between the movie and album.
