Kathy Burke and Harry Enfield in Harry Enfield and Chums (1994)

Trivia

Harry Enfield and Chums

Edit
Kathy Burke based her portrayal of Perry in the Kevin the Teenager sketch on her friend, the actor Perry Fenwick, who also gave his name to the character.
The show's most famous character, Kevin the Teenager, originated from a series of sketches from the Harry Enfield's Television Programme (1990), in which he is a hyperactive pre-teen who lives to annoy his older brother. In this show on the other hand, Kevin is portrayed as an only child.
Following Tony Blair's landslide victory at the 1997 UK General Election, the character of Tory Boy - a teenage boy embodying some of the most extreme stereotypical attitudes of the Tory Party - morphed into "Tony Boy" - a relentlessly upbeat, grinning Blair parody, satirising the way many traditional Tory voters had switched their allegiance to New Labour.
