Goofs

During Blair's "start the avalanche" speech, Dante is seen at the end of the table. As the camera pans around the table during the speech, Dante disappears from the end of the table, and then reappears.

When at the lakeside chalet, Connery's character is standing by the lake fishing from the shore.

The rod & reel he is holding are for fly fishing, yet he is simply holding the rod waiting for a bite.

This is not how fly fishing is done. If he were really fly fishing, he would be whipping the rod back and forth over his shoulder, spooling line off the reel, then allowing the slack line spooled off the reel to go out as he laid the line and fly on the surface of the water, then repeated this process to simulate a fly landing on the water, flying away, then landing again.

Near the end of the movie, at the American control center, when an assistant hands Ned a cup of coffee, he tips it enough that you can see the cup is empty.

When Barley first meets Katya, they're in the big square and he tells her that 3 years ago he was nearly arrested in the same place for suspicion of being a spy. Katya asks "were you?", and Barley replies "of course not" .. He then goes on to explain "a soldier and his girl friend..." followed by a short pause during which Katya smiled satisfactorily, but then Barley continues to explain "..asked me to take a photo of them."! Katya should have waited until Barley finished the whole sentence before smiling (laughing) with satisfaction.
