Few actors have as extensive a filmography as Steven Weber, and his best movies and TV shows reveal an astounding level of variety that stands as a testament to the Wings and Chicago Med star's versatility. Born in 1961 with a career that started in 1984, Steven Weber has starred in dozens of movies and TV shows across the decades. He got his earliest experience as a child actor in TV commercials, but his big break came in the 1984 romantic comedy Flamingo Kid.
From this early appearance, Steven Weber went on to star in a variety of movies and TV shows throughout the 1980s, including the acclaimed Vietnam War movie Hamburger Hill. However, it was landing a leading role in the 1990-1997 sitcom Wings that truly kick-started Steven Weber's career, and decades later the actor is still enjoying an incredibly successful and active career. Prime Video’s big February drop is Mr. & Mrs. Smith! No, not the 2005 Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie action movie, but a new TV series kinda based on it starring Donald Glover and Maya Erskine. The set up for the show version? Glover and Erskine are two strangers who both get jobs at a shady spy agency and are asked to get married so that they can pretend to be a couple undercover, but things get more complicated when they start falling in love for real. Uh oh!
If you’re in the mood for a movie or two this month, you can also check out the Prime debuts of Strays, Bottoms, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. In the meantime, here’s everything coming to Amazon Prime Video and Freevee this month. Amazon Originals are accompanied by an asterisk!

LeBron James might be out of the NBA playoffs, but he’s still angling to be a big part of the summer entertainment season. That’s because HBO Max’s list of new releases for July 2021 is highlighted by a very special sequel.
Space Jam: A New Legacy premieres on July 16. will find LeBron teaming up with the Looney Tunes in a Warner Bros. IP-extravaganza. Can ‘Bron and the Looney Tunes beat the Goon Squad before Warner Bros.’ server steals LeBron “Bronny” Jr.’s soul (or something)? Let’s hope so. Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan have made a career out of messing with our heads and giving us one gore-soaked terror tale after another. Now they're looking to screw your kids up, too! Read on for details.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Melton and Dunstan, the writing team behind four of the seven Saw films, are moving into family-friendly territory as they have been tapped to adapt Disney's live-action family film The Stuff of Legend.
The project, which is based on a graphic novel written by Mike Raicht and Brian Smith and illustrated by Charles Paul Wilson III, revolves around a band of toys that journeys into a dark realm to rescue their owner from the infamous Boogeyman. Animator Peter Candeland (All Dogs Go to Heaven 2, "Aladdin") is attached to direct the film, which is being produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman through their Disney-based Mandeville Films.

Film adaptations of Dr. Seuss' beloved children's books have been pulling in boatloads of cash over the past decade or so. With the exception of the live action The Cat in the Hat starring Mike Myers, all of them have been huge box office hits even when receiving mediocre reviews -- including Ron Howard's live action take on the holiday classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Of course, CG animation is now the medium of choice for almost every movie aimed at a family audience and with Illumination Entertainment in search of a follow-up to The Lorax, they have decided to turn back to this familiar tale once again. That's right, The Grinch is headed back to the screen for a third time... but will audiences be willing to pay to see it again so soon? According to THR, Universal has hired Peter Candeland to direct a new...

Ever on the hunt for a new epic adventure sure to lure in hordes of movie-going families worldwide, Disney has added another hot property to its development slate. Deadline reports the studio has made a "pre-emptive pitch deal" (whatever the hell that means) with Pete Candeland to adapt the graphic novel The Stuff of Legend. With the help of Abduction scribe Shawn Christensen, Candeland has reportedly spent nearly a year putting together a pitch and visual presentation to prove the property's potential to Disney. Christensen is attached to draft the screenplay while Candeland will direct. How much cumulative time have you spent tumbling inside the dryer?
Guess where I am typing the response to this question from? The 'delicates’ setting, that’s where. It ain’t so bad in here with a flashlight on, which is a privilege I have worked very hard to get.
Have you ever thought about settling down and raising a family?
I don’t want no wife really, but I wouldn’t mind lots and lots of babies.

[1] The endearingly geeky, impressively fast-talking Fine Brothers are at it again. The same guys who managed to sum up nearly five decades of Doctor Who [2] in six minutes and every single Best Picture winner through 2009 [3] in five minutes have now released "50 Animated Spoilers in 3 Minutes." (Spoiler alert: They actually make it in two minutes and thirty seconds. But I guess "50 Animated Spoilers in 2 Minutes and 30 Seconds" just doesn't have the same ring to it.) The Fines don't discriminate when it comes to ruining endings -- the video touches upon everything from enduring childhood classics like An American Tail and adult-oriented favorites like South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut to long-forgotten endeavors like Fluppy Dogs. Watch the video after the jump. If you're wondering why no Disney classics were included in "50 Animated Spoilers," it's because the Fine Brothers have already put out a whole other video containing "50 Disney Spoilers in 3 Minutes.

Comedy Central just announced that their next annual Roast will feature none other than 2011′s most ubiquitous tigerblooded human-shaped-chaos-factory, Charlie Sheen. I’m a big fan of all the Comedy Central Roasts, but this time, I’m legitimately concerned — seemingly every Charlie Sheen joke that could’ve ever possibly been made was already Tweeted seventy times in the past couple months, and if everyone’s already sick of “Winning” jokes now, I can’t imagine we’ll be back in the mood for them by the time September rolls around. Because there’s no Charlie Sheen jokes left, we’ve scoured the slightly more obscure corners of Charlie Sheen’s IMDb page to come up with this list of 10 Charlie Sheen Roast Jokes That Haven’t Been Made Yet: 1. Who could forget Charlie Sheen’s portrayal of “Peter” in the 1990 epic Courage Mountain? That movie was huger than Lisa Lampanelli’s vagina!

Briefly: MGM: re-animate! There was a point where MGM was noted as an animation house that employed talents like Friz Freling and introduced William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. But the old MGM Cartoon Studio is long since shuttered, and the last theatrical feature to come out of MGM Animation was All Dogs Go to Heaven 2, in 1996. Now MGM is going back to animation, and the first feature to be developed is one of the few non-remake projects at the studio: an adaptation of the children's book Punk Farm. Variety [1] says that The Simpsons Movie director David Silverman will rewrite Jim Hecht's script and then direct the project. The story, based on Jarrett Krosoczka's book, is about "five barnyard animals (Sheep, Pig, Chicken, Goat and Cow) who form an underground rock band." The book got no small amount of acclaim, and a sequel (Punk Farm on Tour, in 2007). DreamWorks was once developing a film,...

All Dogs Go to Heaven was direct competition to Disney’s The Little Mermaid in theaters way back in the late ’80s. Both features were released on the same day and audiences headed to the movie with the teen mermaid in a shell-bra rather rather than the gambling mongrel. Though respectable during its theatrical release, the film didn’t showcase Don Bluth might like his previous features An American Tail and The Land Before Time. Still, All Dogs Go to Heaven did amazingly well when it arrived on VHS. It’s new-found popularity helped spawned a TV series and a theatrical squeal.

A cameo from Charlie Sheen? What is this? National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1?
In what was momentarily hilarious and fantastic news, socyberty reported that actor Charlie Sheen — known primarily from 1990's Men at Work and providing the voice of Charles B. "Charlie" Barkin in 1996's All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 — was looking to play a zombie in Season 2 of AMC's The Walking Dead.Would it be terrific? Yes! But remember, the site claiming that Sheen's reps "confirmed" the appearance is called "socyberty". Heard of it? Me neither, but congratulations on getting yourself plenty of free publicity!
Luckily, producer Gale Anne Hurd was able to set the record straight about the Three for the Road star's possible cameo. "That is insane," Hurd told HitFix. "I'm on Twitter and I just got someone saying, 'Say it isn't so.' We don't even know what the episodes are going to be, much less stunt-casting zombies.

Henry’s Crime
After living in Buffalo the past four years, I was intrigued to see how director Malcolm Venville (44 Inch Chest) would capture the disparate lifestyle and rundown city with his latest feature Henry’s Crime. Starring Keanu Reeves, James Caan and Vera Farmiga in script from Sacha Gervasi (Anvil), he tells the story of a tollbooth worker who goes to jail for a robbery he was mistakenly involved with. After getting out of prison, he plans to do the crime he did the time for.
