Playboy: The Best of Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole Smith was one of the most popular, high profile models to emerge from Playboy at the height of the 90's. As such they released a couple of videos dedicated to this blonde beauty. 'Best of' coming so soon in 1995 can rightfully be viewed as them trying to capitalize as she was scorching hot looks, popularity wise. It's a fine video that builds on her 1993 PMotY title, but it would be improved upon even further five years later with 'Complete'.

What you might have guessed, but I'll spell out. Playboy is reusing footage. Meaning if you saw her PMotY vid, you've seen the majority here already. The first piece is ANS's Playmate scene at a country bar doing line dancing, quick snippets of Anna naked in between. She then talks about her early beginnings with Playboy, being nervous and shy about getting naked in front of the camera for the very first time. Her first cover and centerfold (May 1992) are shown. The first scene she did is shown - a Victorian era sounding & looking piece with a really young ANS posing - wearing less makeup than you'd definitely see later on. It's nice, more natural. Then a moment spent talking about how she came to model for Guess jeans and you get to see the presentation at the Playboy mansion when she receives PMOTY from Hugh Hefner. She gets a "big" check and an expensive car then talk resumes on comparisons between her and Marilyn Monroe when earlier it had been Jayne Mansfield.

A brief clip of ANS on Larry King is shown before a montage highlights all the mainstream magazine appearances she's made. A funny clip of her on the Arsenio Hall show, movie posters for big movies she had bit roles in. Anna gets splashed by waves 'From Here to Eternity' style. More media coverage and the early beginnings of her partying lifestyle / attitude are discussed. Then switches gears to her infamously marrying the mega rich old man and the legal drama that followed.

A quick interlude with Anna naked with muscle men behind her lends some nice nude visuals of her body. Then it's a montage of previous scenes, some b-roll and taking all the opportunities that come to her. Anna plays with her young son and talks about him as the video wraps on a bittersweet moment as she states to follow your dreams because they come true.

If you want to see Anna Nicole Smith nude, this checks that box. If you want to revisit the broad strokes of her life, 'The Best of' is satisfactory in that regard. However 'Complete Anna Nicole Smith' that came out in 2000 provides new scenes and updates to her life that this 1995 video can't and is the preferred option if you had to choose.

Words are not good enough to describe in a valuable way the outstanding beauty that is shown on this Playboy-video. Anna-Nicole Smith, in those days, was without any doubt the most beautiful, sensual and sexy woman on this globe. Everyone who doesn't believe this has to watch the tape. Of course, it's my personal thought about the girl, and although you know that not everything you see is real, but that some parts of her body are the result of plastic surgery, to me, that's no problem: Anna-Nicole still stays a goddess! There's not one minute in this video that is boring. You just have to watch the tape to believe it, and then you still can't believe it. I'm trying not to get excited, but really, without become vulgar: the voluptuous body of this incredibly beautiful woman is of such a heavenly perfection, every part is without any restriction a pleasure to see. I'm not sure if there will be ever a playmate as gorgeous as Anna-Nicole again. To me, she IS the playmate of the century. Anna IS a goddess!
