Not bad....

Billy Crystal is not the funniest man in the world, and Gheorghe Muresan certainly isn't much of an actor. But the Wizard was able to deliver a very good fragile, gentle giant. The story line was very lame. The highlight of this movie was the love an innocence that Muresan feels toward a girl he loved 23 years ago. This movie is billed as a comedy, but feels quite dark at times. **

Billy Crystal was inspired to write this film from having worked with André René Roussimoff in the The Princess Bride (1987).

Goofs
After Max gets the role opposite Steven Seagal in Vegas, the assistant provides forms for Sam to fill out including W-2s. It should be W-4, Employer's Withholding Allowance Certificate, not W-2, which is the annual employee's wage and tax statement issued after year-end used for filing the employee's tax returns.
