    Live & Kicking

When I first saw this Saturday morning show, or rather caught bits of it, I first thought it was some kind of sports programme. Then after a couple of other bits I discovered that it was more for kids than adults because there were obvious things to spot. These kinds of things involved kids TV presenters like that really nice black guy who had a teary quit, two Irish puppets, the Rugrats on, and many other things. To be honest I only watched bits of it when I felt like it. When I saw the teary goodbye from the black guy on Greatest Kids TV Moments, I didn't realise he like his job that much! But anyway, what I saw of this show was not bad. Pretty okay!

    The BEST!

I LOVED L and K. Trev and Simon were hilarious, I especially liked the Men In Trousers! (this pair) and the 'Footore Noos' where the 'U' sound had been banned, my Saturday mornings would consist of The Racoons, The New Adventures of Superman, and then this for three hours. I think Clarissa Explains It All, was first shown on it, I loved the leprechauns, although I lost interest when Jamie and Zoe left. The saying 'We don't rightly know' was also really funny. BRILLIANT!

The theme tune was also really good, and I would get really annoyed if I missed it, and who can forget Mitch? The arrival of Mr Blobby could have been a big mistake, it turned out to be genius, Blobby was now a real thing instead of Noel Edmunds in a suit.

    great morning programme

I remember when Live and Kicking first started in 1993. Every saturday morning this was on BBC ONE. There was alsorts when this was on, I remember before it's finish there use to have the simpsons on. i think that was on in 2000 or maybe in 1999. I also remember when they advertise the songs that were going to be on the top 40, and the celebs had to use the big hands to say if they think that the record will be a HIT, a MISS, or a MAYBE.

Best Saturday Morning T.V show ever

Without a doubt this show personified the weekends of my childhood. It was the 'only way to start the week end.' I remember when it started in 1993 I was 6. I followed it through the Golden Ages of Andi Peters (who can forget his emotional farewell) and Emma Forbes and then the era of Zoe Ball and Jamie Theakston. Towards the end, the show lost its glow. Fully Booked, SMTV, Go and Live, the Saturady Show and Dic and Dom never reached the heights of entertainment that Live nd Kicking did for me and those of my age group.

Live and Kicking introduced me as a small child to the world of celebrity and marvel cartoons (X-men and Spiderman being the main reason I watched it). Truly children's T.V hasn't been the same since the 90's. I remember the childish comedy of comedy of Trev and Simon that amused me; as well as pointless yet amusing games like Snuffle the Truffle and music shows like hit, miss or maybe. Anyone remember Famous for Five minutes? This was the show that had everything; and the chemistry between the presenters was uncanny. Life has never been the same since...thank goodness it finished though or I don't think I'd have grown up!!!

    dead and buried

Where did great Saturday morning go? Its as if the greatest shows on earth suddenly became locked in a fire-balling frenzy or fear and sucked beneath the earth in an almighty ....drip

I mean we got some alrightish stuff now (like dick and dom) but nothing compares to the good olde, good old days!

Zoe Ball was an amazing presenter so full of life so..... kicking? Where did she go I know she has probably been on loads of stuff since but nothing quite as fun filled as live and kicking, what a disappointment.

I think they should reinvent live and kicking possibly to a late night cable channel (possibly an illegal one) that nobody has and change the name to Live and Hoping: For Freedom....and should be about people in a deep well struggling for life, having to turn on each other to survive. last one alive wins!
