Witness, please, the recent witless re-make of "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". Sure, money helps- it usually does- but at the end of the day, comedy is hard work.
In "Starving Artists" it's hard work that pays off. Low budget? Weak technical support? No-name cast? So what- it's a damned good film, funny as hell, and well produced given the obvious limitations.
Kudos, applause, and congratulations. If you get the chance, see it. Someday, somhow, you'll wish you had!

I viewed this movie at the Sedona film Festival and met Piper there, wishing him good fortune for the movie. I think the movie was fantastic and i haven't stopped talking about it for three years. I would love a copy of it if anyone knows how i can reach Allen Piper or can obtain a copy please contact me.

This is a movie that has a degree of originality. If the screen play were touched up and the movie was reshot using better sound equipment it might even be good. As it is, it's amaturish at best. Still amusing to watch though.

Recommended to any who have a high tolerance for silliness and a sense of humor. Piper proves that one does not need a huge budget or big-name actors to make an excellent movie. It's not exactly high drama, but if you go to this movie expecting to laugh you will not be disappointed.
