Trey Parker and Matt Stone agreed to do this film under the assumption that South Park (1997) would be canceled by the time filming began. It wasn't, so they had to attend principal photography for this project during the day and produce the TV show during the night, leaving very little time for sleep.

Goofs
Early in the movie when Coop and Reimer are doing free throws at Britney's party, there is a brief glimpse of the crewmember who retrieves the basketballs on the left side of the screen. He can be seen each time Coop or Reemer make a shot.

Crazy credits
After the credits have finished there is a scene where the Bob Costas and Al Michaels have a conversation consisting only of "dude", a la the make up scene between Parker and Stone. This ends with Al Michaels turning to the screen and pulling down a screen before what one would expect to be a kiss like Parker and Stone earlier in the film...

Effing brilliant!!!!

Just sickly and twistedly funny as hell. Parker and Stone are OBVIOUSLY demented, and hooking up with Zucker was a brilliant move. I laughed until I cried. I had to stop the tape several times because I was incoherent from laughing so hard. The Robert Stack bit was just sooooooooooo funny, as were pretty much all of the jokes. Now the DVD version on the other hand has some serioous problems, like missing scenes, no extras to speak of and horrible picture quality. Pick it up on VHS instead, no extras, but you get the entire movie.
