The Rogue class has always been one of the best in Dragon Age, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard is no exception. This class thrives on doing a lot of damage to an enemy and avoiding damage the enemy tries to do. Depending on your chosen weapon, it's a great class to be on the front lines and the back. A good Rogue build typically maximizes damage output through critical hits and exploits enemy weaknesses. This often involves strategically applying various afflictions (status effects) like bleeding, necrosis, or shock to weaken enemies and enhance damage.
Rogue is a very versatile class, and you can focus on bows, up-close combat, or be around the battlefield as a Saboteur. So, in terms of specializations, it's best to choose the one that matches your combat style. However, other things just match regardless, like faction and race. Ultimately, the core of a good Rogue build...

While it wouldn't exactly be accurate to say that Lionsgate's upcoming reboot of The Crow is highly-anticipated, there is a certain amount of curiosity surrounding the movie, and fans are interested to see more.
Now, possibly in anticipation of a second trailer, Lionsgate has shared a brief new promo. The teaser is only a few seconds long, but it does give us another look at Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård) brutally dispatching some bad guys.
During a recent interview with Screen Rant, Wonder Woman actor Danny Huston - who will play, you guessed it, the villain in The Crow - assured fans that this movie will not seek to "imitate" the original.
"Yeah, in a way, you don't want to really remake things that are good, you want to kind of leave them alone, because they're good. Why remake them? But having said that, they're also an inspiration, and as...

Danny Huston emphasizes that the new Crow movie will be unique, drawing inspiration from the original but creating something different. Bill Skarsgrd's adaptation promises a more visceral approach and a different visual style compared to Brandon Lee's cult classic. The new Crow film aims to breathe new life into the franchise, steering away from imitation and offering a fresh take on the iconic story.
Though sharing the same unique source material, Danny Huston assures that Bill Skarsgrd's The Crow will be very different from Brandon Lee's cult classic. Both movies are based on James O'Barr's graphic novel of the same name, telling the story of a man who was killed with his fiance by a gang of criminals, only to be revived a year later by the titular bird and imbued with supernatural abilities to get revenge. Alongside Skarsgrd and Huston, who stars as an unnamed villain in the movie,...

Six full-length albums by Elliott Smith dating back to his teenage years circa 1985 have surfaced online.
As Pitchfork notes, the recently unveiled archive of then-16-year-old Portland, Oregon teenager Steven Paul Smith was painstakingly discovered and distributed by a young Texas fan deep in a years-long pursuit.
Cameron McCrary emailed local Portland record stores and posted entries on Discogs as part of his treasure hunt. Tony Lash, who played drums on several of the records, sold the surviving copies to an Elliott Smith completist. Other recordings trickled out over the course of two years.
All told, the repertoire spans six albums recorded between 1985 and 1989 by Smith and his high school buddies under various band names, including 1985’s Any Kind of Mudhen, 1986’s Still Waters More or Less and 1987’s Menagerie by Stranger Than Fiction; 1988’s The Greenhouse by A Murder of Crows; and 1989’s Trick of Paris Season by Harum Scarum.

Even if you're not a professional writer, it's safe to assume you've experienced writer's block at one point in your life. Whether it was working on a paper for school, trying to craft that perfectly worded e-mail, or attempting to write that novel you've always wanted to crank out, you know the feeling of desperately wanting to write something great (or at least good) and having absolutely zero inspiration.
Editors Ben Watts and Ivan Kandor know that feeling, too, and they've crafted a supercut featuring 50 movies that deal with this exact thing. Thankfully, they don't just stop at the low point — they also include that transcendent moment where the words just start flowing and it feels like they'll never stop, complete with a great soundtrack that mirrors the writers' journey.

It’s been revealed that BioShock Infinite will receive the collector’s edition treatment not once, but twice, giving the series’ numerous fans some retail choice. First up is the Ultimate Songbird Edition, which will come with a statue among other things, and will retail for a crisp $149.99. However, if spending that much money on one game is too rich for your blood, you can opt for the regular version or the next step up, which is referred to as the Premium Edition. That one will come with a suggested price of $79.99, with the catch being that it doesn’t include the impressive-looking statue that its peer prominently boasts.
Below, you’ll find a list of all of the swag that the BioShock Infinite Ultimate Songbird Edition will include. All of the items are displayed in this article’s featured image, and are highlighted with great detail on the game’s website.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (20th Century Fox) Sequel to the seminal 1980s film catches up with a weathered, but still determined Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas, who seems to savor every syllable of Allan Loeb and Stephen Schiff’s screenplay) just out of jail and back on the comeback trail. In attempting to repair his relationship with his estranged daughter (Carey Mulligan), Gekko forges a reluctant alliance with her fiancé (Shia Labeouf), himself an ambitious young turk who finds himself seduced by Gekko’s silver tongue and promise of riches. Lifeless film is further evidence of director Oliver Stone’s decline. Once America’s most exciting filmmaker, Stone hasn’t delivered a film with any teeth since 1995’s Nixon. Labeouf and Mulligan generate no sparks on-screen, and the story feels forced from the protracted opening to the final, Disney-esque denouement. Only a brief cameo by Charlie Sheen,...

It's Halloween week which will make some of you roll your eyes and some of you bounce up and down and clap your hands with glee. I'm in the second group. I love Halloween. Candy is delicious and costumes are super fun, I actually wish we had more opportunities to wear costumes in everyday life. (Apparently, so did Lady Gaga, which is one of the many reasons I adore and envy her in equal measure. She is literally living a large chunk of my dream life.) I'm sure some of you are still trying to decide on a costume, no judgements I only picked mine last week, so this week I'll attempt to helpfully point out potential costumes from the night's television offerings. Super fun, right? I actually don't care. Here's tonight's TV:

If you watch enough television shows and movies, then you might even start to notice that a bunch of the same props are used over and over again. I first noticed this with a magazine prop in various television shows including Married With Children, which featured a gum advertisement on the back cover. Someone on Reddit recently put together a compilation of photos from various television shows, commercials and movies, showing how one newspaper prop gets around and is reused, and reused again. I don't know the story behind this prop newspaper, but I assume it was created as a royalty free prop for television shows. Somewhere along the line, the prop became a reoccurring gag between propmasters. Something like how sound designers reuse the Wilhem Scream in every movie. Check out some examples after the jump. And here is more: Power Rangers Zeo A Murder of Crows A texasi láncf?...
