Two Christian kids Austin O'Brien and Britt Leary are attracted to each other and hormones as opposed to church values take over one beautiful day and Leary is pregnant. As the title says it only takes once.
Watching this all I could think about was the apparent lack of availability or education about protection. Who was the guidance counselor at the high school? If the homes for reasons of their faith won't provide education somebody better pick up the slack.
This film could just as easily have been a message about the need for sex education as well as abstinence. Austin O'Brien and Britt Leary gave a pair of nice and matched performances and get could support from the rest of the cast. The location photography in Utah was nice as well.
But this one is strictly for Christian audiences and sure does a disservice to them when hormones do take over. Their options because of their faith doctrine are most limited.
