Auto-stoppeuses en chaleur, or Hitchhikers in Heat, is a tantalizing trip back to the golden age of Euro erotica. Directed by Claude Bernard-Aubert, this 1979 French classic is an unapologetic celebration of sexual fantasy and liberation.
The plot follows Francois (Guy Royer), an average Joe who becomes the luckiest man alive during a road trip. He encounters a bevy of beautiful women who are more than willing to satisfy his every desire. From cute hitchhiking couples to a woman on the run from her husband, Francois stumbles into one steamy situation after another.
The standout performance comes from Brigitte Lahaie as Denise, the woman fleeing her spouse. Lahaie's scene is the highlight of the film, exuding a raw, uninhibited sensuality that is both captivating and rare. However, some viewers may be disappointed that her screen time is limited.
The supporting actresses, including Karine Gambler and Cathy Stewart, are also easy on the eyes and bring their own unique allure to the mix. For fans of 70s Euro erotica, this film is a delightful treat, offering a glimpse into a more carefree and adventurous era of adult entertainment.
That being said, the film may not satisfy viewers looking for a more substantial narrative or innovative sexual scenarios. The plot is thin, existing primarily as a framework to string together the sexual encounters. While the first sequence with the hitchhikers is the most memorable, the rest of the film fails to reach the same heights, hence a 6 out of 10 rating.
In conclusion, Auto-stoppeuses en chaleur is a fun, nostalgic ride that delivers on its promise of sexual escapism. It may not be the most groundbreaking or titillating film of its genre, but it certainly has its moments of pleasure and charm.
So, if you're in the mood for a vintage erotic adventure, buckle up and hit the open road with Francois and his bevy of beauties. Just be prepared for a few bumps along the way!

Not a bad film, worth a look, but Brigitte Lahaie (who gets top billing in some ads for this movie on websites) is only in one scene, and it's disappointing. However, the other actresses look good and the sex scenes will generally satisfy fans of 70s Euro erotica.

** 1/2 (out of 4)
French porn film has Francois (Guy Royer) playing the luckiest man alive. He sets out for a drive and ends up coming across countless beautiful women who fulfill his every sexual need. This includes a cute hitchhiking couple, a woman (Brigitte Lahaie) trying to get away from her husband, a woman (Karine Gambler) with car problems and then countless others. Also known as TWO AT ONCE and HITCH HIKERS IN HEAT, this French porno doesn't have too much story but there's no question that it contains some pretty good scenes throughout the picture. I'm going to guess that the main draw is going to be the legendary Lahaie but even though she gets top-billing in a few ads, she's actually only in the picture a short time. Her first sequence really isn't all that good and then we get a fun twist that leads to another rather bland scene. There's no doubt that the best sequence is the first involving the hitchhikers but there's quite a bit here for fans of the genre to enjoy. Even fans of director Jean Rollin will enjoy seeing Lahaie and fans of Jess Franco will get to see Gambler who appeared in many of the Spanish filmmaker's movies.

This classical french porn is only good by the presence of beautiful Lahaie. Her scene is fantastic but the rest of it is...classical! Nothing really horny to sink our... teeth into but hey look at the year the movie was made! A pretty good one so!
