The Whistler

It could be seen as a kind of poor man's ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS series. An anthology TV show, around crime and providing many twist endings, very well made, though you may have better episodes than others. But it's rare that you get bored with this show. It is quite different than the movie series from the forties. But the big screen short features were however excellent too. B pictures.

I am sad to see that not so many people know this TV show that we could consider as a kind of ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS series. An anthology about crime schemes with nearly always twists endings. Not bad at all, and slightly different from the movies made in the forties, however also very interesting.
