Not suitable for foreigners (as in non Finns)

If you don't possess a vast knowledge about Finnish comedy series history don't bother to watch this film: every character in it is taken from these old comedy shows of the 80's, so actually most of the characters in the film are played by just a handful of actors. And, if you don't know the history, you wont know the characters and there fore you most like wont get any of the jokes or hit phrases.

But then again, this all matters very little, because the flick just ain't funny. Sure, there are couple of grins gained from the sheer stupidity of the film, but there's nothing remotely genuinely funny about it.

I doubt there was as small amount of money spent on this film as possible. I also suspect, that there was smallest amount of time possible spent shooting the film.

Hard to say much positive about this one. Sheer stupidity.

    Basic old finnish comedy

Like the other review said, this movie basically should not be watched unless you are a native finn. As a foreigner you probably will not get the jokes. And yes the characters are mostly from some other previous tv-parody done by the same comedians. Ass a native finn though i found the movie quite amusing, not great though. I give it 7 stars.

    Not suitable basically for anyone

This is not a film in any sense.

Without a plot nor a story, just some random - occationally racists - stereotyped characters running around for no reason one can think of.

I only saw this the other day, just out of curiosity. It was quite difficult to watch it through.

It is based on a Finnish series of 80s scetch characters that were awful to watch then and much, much worse today.

Apart from the lack of a script, interest in camerawork or sound, the acting makes it even worse as it does not take place - just making faces that is supposed to do that.

The motivation making of this kind a film-like certainly was purely money. Any other explanation should make one uncomfortable.

    A mediocre old Finnish comedy

This is a Finnish comedy from the 1980's, which means that for foreign audience, this will be almost totally incomprehensible. In addition, it has a ton cultural references to popular Finnish culture at the time and slang that made sense at the time, but have since aged terribly.

The movie is just barely watchable, but still preferable to watching paint dry or waiting for a bus without a cellphone, which is a start. The bare skeleton of a plot is only intended to tie the individual sketches together, and is uninteresting in itself. The jokes are slow, hard to get and not even funny. Some of them consist of just repeated catchphrases of whose repetition is supposed to make them funny. In addition, this movie has many caricatures that can be considered offensive (even at the time this was made), especially the two Sámi people who are portrayed as incompetent and rowdy drunkards.
