In a surprisingly explicit scene, Bjarna (Pálmi Gestsson ) and Lilju (Unnur Steinsson) are in a barn, and the former accompanies Lilju's hand on a horse's penis, making her move up and down. The scene, which takes place under the eyes of a 12-year-old boy (Steinsson's real life son), probably wanted to be funny and not pornographic, but it is evident that as soon as Steinsson lets go, the horse penis is fully erect.
Unnur Steinsson, the leading actress in this movie, was Miss Iceland 1983 who competed in Miss Universe 1983 and came in the top 5 position at the Miss World 1983.
In one scene 12-year-old actor Steinar Torfi Vilhjalmsson, playing Krumma, watches her real-life mother Unnur Steinsson, playing Lilju, naked and having sex with Bjarna's character. Steinsson said, "I think it was more difficult for him. I don't know that he felt uncomfortable seeing his mother in the arms of a stranger. But he had been dreaming of acting in a movie for a long time and it was certainly significant for him."
