Not perfect, but parts of it are excellent

This is an independently produced film, and occasionally it shows it. The low budget forced some compromises, not least of which is the short length. None the less, the compromises are well made and the result is surprisingly good. Some of the cinematography is truly excellent.

As far as I know, the only way to see Radius is to buy a DVD from K2. The DVD comes with. with extensive "making of" shorts which are themselves enjoyable viewing. The life and enthusiasm of both the cast and the crew come through in both the movie itself and its extras. I give it 6 stars for technical and production, and 10 for life and verve. I enjoyed it a lot more than many Hollywood products, and give it 8 stars overall.

Best Short Sci-Fi ever!

Just watched the Radius DVD. It is the best short sci-fi movie I've ever seen. This film proves that low-budget movies are better than big-budgets. Phenomenal!

Radius takes the audience on a journey that tells an exciting and original story, as well as the journey of how it was made. The Making Of DVD, which was included in the purchase, consisted of the best two hours of how to make a movie ever created. The film is brilliantly directed and put together. I would recommend that every wannabe filmmaker and everyone interested in how to make a movie buy this DVD. Thank you to the cast and crew for one of the best films ever made.
