Mona the Vampire was part of my early early (5:30-6am) morning line-ups when I had to go to school as a snot-nosed kid.
The animation was colorful. Theme Song was cool. Voice Actors done well (many recognizable) and the premise made you think you were part of an inception.
Mona The Vamp is kind of like Scooby Doo but better because I don't like Scooby Doo. It's about a girl, 2 friends and a cat that solve mysteries in her town. Mona has exaggerated interpretations of events like a mean substitute teacher is an alien but it turns out she was a robber or like the video game episode where the game turns everyone into zombies state where in reality the game was addictive.
Mona's assumptions and mind leads her to investigate. Often times her suspicions are wrong that she was still right. Her fantasies leads to the town and people coming to a conclusion of a crime or problem.
With Mona being out of the world personality, she has helped her town in various ways in every episode. She and her friends are heroes.
Her parents try their passive best to have Mona stop pretending to be a Vamp but she never does.
Mona the Vampire was a just a lovely mind perception show.
Verdict: Mona the Gold Vampire.

Now heres an interesting program. The adventures of a "vampire" girl and her 2 almost as delusional friends "Zapman" and "Princess Giant" (Charley and Lily), often antagonized by nasty spoiled rich girl Angela, as well as an assortment of other monsters.
Each episode consists of the 3 friends solving a supernatural mystery involving things such as the boogeyman to boy-bird hybrids to alien plots involving burger sauce. My favorite thing about the story is that it lets the viewer judge how much of whats going on is real by using a strange transition effect between scenes of normality and scenes involving the supernatural events.
All in all its a great kids show, but even at 17, I have a lot of fun watching it.

This was good cartoon! Nostalgia gives me vibes of old cartoons and used to read one of the books back in primary school in the library would recommend to watch a lot as this cartoon would be animated by the people who created Arthur! So if anyone thinks this cartoon doesn't look good or anything just letting you know this cartoon will worth your time! You can even invite others who haven't red or watched. Mona The Vampire! Try this as it has exciting episodes! Also has 4 seasons the only regret I would've had was ignoring this show and saying it's bad out of context go right now and watch it friend!
Mona the Vampire is an interesting show for children. The show centres around a young girl (Mona) and her friends as they attempt to defeat often exaggerated evil beings. Reality changes into fantasy, creating interesting combinations, such as an evil fashion designer trying to turn everyone into mannequins.
The programme is suitable for children of all ages, but it's gentle pace may not interest all children. It is the complete opposite to all the comic and action cartoons that we are used to today. The characters are quite plain and the only real interesting characters are Mona's alter ego and also the class snob (Mona's mortal enemy)Even so, the programme is entertaining and light-hearted, which makes it worth a look.

I do agree Mona the Vampire isn't for everyone, but one thing for certain, I like this programme. Of course the pacing is very gentle and there are a few characters that lose my interest at times, but what I like about Mona the Vampire is that it is light-hearted and entertaining.
The animation is how I like it to be, crisp, colourful and smooth. I love the colours and the backgrounds and I think the characters are drawn well too. The music is excellent I feel, the theme tune is really catchy and memorable with terrific vocals. The writing is strong and funny and the story lines are interesting. I like the characters in general, especially Mona and Angela, while the voice acting is top notch.
Overall, I like this show, not outstanding but if you want an animated show that has a nice light touch this is for you. 8/10 Bethany Cox
