Little Miss

I find this animated series is based of the Little Miss Books is very splendid and superb, because the female characters and their personalities are amazing, the animation, voice acting and stories are excellent, I'm giving this a 10/10.

What I loved about this series was the voice characterisation by the amazing Pauline Collins, supported by solid narration from husband John Alderton. My daughter absolutely adored these stories on CD when she was tiny. Little Miss Magic and Little Miss Plump were our absolute favourites. Hilarious voice acting and great comic timing from two of the UK's finest actors, whose chemistry is essential to the magic of these recordings. Although they are over 40 years old, they are timeless. As a boy growing up in the early 80s, my Mr. Men audio cassette was one of my most treasured tapes and The Little Miss series is full of the same joy and pathos that Arthur Lowe was able to convey. Wonderful, simple stories brought to life beautifully. Some of the best output of Children's BBC, in my humble opinion.
