Hard to believe it was 10 years ago.

Appearing at a time when MtV was still showing a variety of music videos and was at least vaguely interesting, Alternative Nation was a showcase for the "Alternative" music that was happening at the time. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, STP... their videos all appeared there.

Also the show that made Kennedy (MTv VJ) a household name.
