Mrs Pepperpot UK

I watched Mrs Pepperpot on Sky One with my sister while we was eating breakfast before going to school in 1995. Mrs Pepperpot, Rainbow Brite & Kimba the white lion were her favourites growing up.

A delightful Japanese anime version of Norwegian tales

I remember seeing this wonderful work when I was about 11 year old, and still find it amusing. The idea of an old lady shrinking to a mouse size, and able to talk with animals due to this fact, is really entertaining, as are her efforts to let her "shameful condition" unbeknownst to her husband; not to mention that it can be even educational, forcing a kid to reflect onto his/her relationship not only with animals, but other people as well. As a side note, the character of Luly (Liulai here in Italy), the strange but very kind young girl living in the forest - a fairy? It's never explained - is one of the cutest animated characters I've ever seen.
