After venturing into Stephen King's nightmares for the adaptation of 1408, John Cusack is heading to the horror genre with the Master of Terror again as Screen Daily has learned that he will star in an adaptation of Cell, the best-selling novel about a father desperately trying to find his wife and son after some sort of catastrophe begins spreading via cellular telephones. In this day and age of cell phones being in everyone's possession nearly every minute of everyday, this could be quite the thriller. King also co-write the screenplay himself with The Last House on the Left wrter Adam Alleca, but no director is attached just yet. In addition, a press release from Synchronicity Entertainment has Cusack attached to Due Process, a new thriller from One Perfect Day director Paul Currie. The film is slated to begin shooting in January and follows two big city bankers who head...

We have a couple of casting stories for you today. First up, Screen Daily [via The Playlist] reports that John Cusack will star in the horror film Cell based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. The story takes place in a world where cell phones emit a signal that turns people into aggressive killers. I have no idea how this will differ from the great 2007 film The Signal other than famous people are attached to Cell. King will co-write the script with Adam Alleca (Last House On The Left remake). The project is still looking to attach a director. Before doing Cell, Cusack will star in the financial thriller Due Process. The film, written by Anthony Derrico and directed by Paul Currie (One Perfect Day), centers on a farmer (Cusack) who goes up against some big city bankers who have come to foreclose on his farm. I'm having trouble envision...

If you haven’t watched this week’s episode of Bones, stop reading now. Spoilers ahead!
Booth’s grandfather Pops (guest star Ralph Waite) visited and brought with him the news that Seeley’s father had died. At first, Booth couldn’t look past his issues with his dad (he hadn’t seen him for 20 years) to see how much his grandfather was hurting. Pops eventually read him an excerpt of a letter he’d found among his son’s things asking him to tell Seeley that he loved him and that he knows he deserved a better father — one like he’d had.
