Brilliant danish satire

This is one of the best danish TV-shows ever made! It's a brilliant satire of the do cu-soap genre. When I saw the trailers, I thought it was for a real documentary, and didn't't watch it at first. But luckily, they kept repeating the series. Since the letters P.I.S means urine in danish, I guess I should have been aware it was a satire. What makes it especially brilliant, is that the guy who in a normal TV-show would be the hero, i.e. the handsome, clever and smart guy (think Tom Cruise), in this he is simply to self absorbed for us to really like him. In this series it is the "anti-hero" we follow and care for instead, even though he is kind of a jerk. The acting is superb (I believe a lot was improvised). 10 out of 10!

Alternate versions
An alternative ending for Episode 2.7 from 2001 (episode 13 in chronological order) is featured as a bonus on the R2 DVD, released in 2002 by K.E. Media [dk], in which John Schmidt participates (uncomfortably) in the arrest of Svetlana Pushkina at Rødovre Torv (Rødovre Shopping Mall). For 5 years this was only an alternative ending, but when Episode 3.1 from 2006 (episode 14 in chronological order) was broadcast it showed flashback footage of Svetlana's arrest, thereby making the scene part of the storyline.
