Katie Thurston has given an update on her breast cancer diagnosis.

The 34-year-old The Bachelorette alum told fans on Friday (March 28) that Pet scans revealed that her breast cancer has metastasized to her liver, bringing her to a stage 4 diagnosis.

“I did find out today that my breast cancer has spread to the liver. It is fairly small. However, that does put me at stage 4,” she said on Instagram.

“I know stage 4 can sound very scary, and it can be. However, given that I am triple-positive and the spots on my liver are fairly small and detected early, I feel very optimistic on my outcome,” she added.

According to Katie, she will begin treatment involving chemotherapy next week. Our thoughts are with Katie during her battle.

Turner turned down the opportunity to join Bachelor In Paradise. Fans assumed that he would join the show to find a new love. However, Turner isn’t interested in the idea. He told TMZ that he’s not attracted to any of the women who will be on the spinoff dating series.

ABC producers approached Turner three weeks ago, but he said no. The reason? Turner has already courted most of the women before. There’s already baggage there. Ultimately, Turner didn’t feel romantic sparks with the women from his season.

However, Turner is open to another potential role. He pitched his idea to TMZ. Turner would love to co-host or make a guest-starring appearance.

The Bachelorette alum Katie Thurston has revealed some devastating news amid her breast cancer diagnosis.

The 34-year-old was diagnosed with Invasive ductal carcinoma, and she explained that she may be facing a stage four diagnosis. There were some warning signs on her liver, which has caused a delay in her treatment. If the cancer has spread to other locations, it would become stage 4.

“My biopsy is scheduled Friday which would have been my treatment day. We now wait,” she posted on Instagram Story. Seemingly referring to her doctor, Katie shared, “She seemed to be leaning more on the cancer in the liver vs. optimistic it was nothing. This would put me at stage 4. I’d love to hear from my sisters who are stage 4 in terms of quality of life, motherhood, etc.”

She updated today that she had biopsies taken from her breast, lymph nodes, and liver and they are now waiting for results.

After revealing their season 29 engagement, Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa appeared as a happy couple on ABC’s live After the Final Rose stage. As you may have heard, the former Bachelorette just got married to Jeff Arcuri — and we’re so very happy for her.

As you also may have heard, however, Thurston revealed in February that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner are set to leave their positions, which they’ve held since series creator Mike Fleiss left the show in 2023. Their exits come in the wake of allegations that Freeland and Graebner oversaw a “toxic” and “hostile” workplace on The Bachelor, claims the pair have denied through their attorney.

Margolis is Freeland’s husband and Booth is Freeland’s longtime friend, though Wbtv told the outlet that the studio pursued a formal conflict-of-interest process and noted neither staffer reported to Freeland. Neither Margolis nor Booth, however, were mentioned in regard to fostering a toxic work environment on set.

Representatives for ABC and Wbtv declined to comment.

Freeland and Graebner took over as showrunners in 2023 following the tumultuous exit of “Bachelor” creator Mike Fleiss. Having created “The Bachelor” in 2002, Fleiss left after an investigation into allegations of racial discrimination was conducted by Wbtv. Freeland and Graebner oversaw the reality series along with Jason Ehrlich, a perennial on ABC, who left after the first season of “The Golden Bachelor.”

In February, it was revealed that ABC would not be airing a new season of “The Bachelorette” following Ellis’ season of “The Bachelor.

The Bachelorette alum DeAnna Pappas has been arrested following an alleged altercation with her ex-husband, Stephen Stagliano. She is now filing a restraining order against him.

Lynn Stagliano, who appears to be Stephen‘s mother, filed a declaration in the divorce on Friday (March 7).

“On Wednesday, February 26, at 7:38 a.m., I went to DeAnna’s house to help get Austin to school. I very clearly smelled alcohol on DeAnna’s breath. I put Austin in the car and left,” Lynn wrote, according to records obtained by In Touch Weekly.

Another Shakeup

Deadline was the first to report on Monday, March 3, that two top executives left The Bachelor franchise. Co-executive producers Keely Booth and Michael Margolis exited the ABC dating show. They both worked in postproduction and exited from their respective positions at the end of last week.

Booth and Margolis joined the franchise last year. Prior to working on The Bachelor, the duo worked on the Canadian version of Bachelor in Paradise. Margolis was the series director of many versions of the Canadian franchise. Meanwhile, Boot was a showrunner of Bachelor in Paradise in Canada.

Mass Exodus

This news comes on the heels of a mass exodus involving the franchise.

Two co-executive producers have exited The Bachelor franchise. Michael Margolis and Keely Booth have stepped down from their roles, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Their departures come amid recent reports of an alleged toxic workplace at the ABC and Warner Bros. TV-produced reality series, of which The Bachelor is one of several series under their umbrella.
