Trisha Krishnan continues to bag many film offers even in her 40s. Although she has been working in the film industry for 20 years, the interesting thing is that Trisha never wanted to be an actress. In her initial days, Trisha preferred modeling over acting.

Trisha started participating in beauty pageants while she was studying in Class 12. She also began receiving some modeling opportunities. At that time, she had an interview with actor Yugi Sethu and talked about her ambitions during the show.

The project reunites Vikram with director Hari after a long hiatus. Vikram returns as the foul-mouthed cop Aarusaamy in the sequel, which also features Keerthy Suresh in the leading role. Apparently, the principal shooting began from the last week of January 2018 and the makers so far have shot the film across various locations such as Delhi, Noida, Agra, Jaipur, Nainital and Kathmandu among other places. According to a reliable source, 80 percent of the project has been wrapped up and the team is waiting for the strike to get over so that they can finish the remainder portion.There is a song remaining to be shot for which Vikram and Keerthy Suresh will fly abroad after the Kollywood strike. The source also added that the entire project will be wrapped up by April. The team hopes to bring the film to cinema halls during the Ramzan festival. Recently, posters from the sets of Saamy Square leaked online and with it, the storyline as well. Fans who were eagerly waiting to watch actor Trisha in the Vikram-starrer Saamy 2 (Saamy Square) are in for disappointment. Trisha was to star opposite Vikram in the film, the sequel to the 2003 film Saamy, but has walked out of the project.

Chiyaan Vikram has started shooting for Saamy sequel, being made after a decade since the release of the highly successful first part. The sequel, which reunites Vikram and director Hari, for strange reasons, has been titled Saamy Square and nobody quite knows the reason behind it. Maybe it’s the makers’ way of creating curiosity till the film comes out. However, it’s going to be challenging to create a recall value with this new title which has been received with mixed feelings. Meanwhile, the makers are hoping to bring out the film next year during summer.

Chennai, July 4: Director Hari Gopalakrishnan is looking forward to Sanjay Dutt-starrer Bollywood film "Policegiri", which is the remake of his own "Saamy".

"Policegiri", directed by K.S Ravikumar also features Prachi Desai, Prakash Raj, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi and Mukesh Tiwari. It is also releasing worldwide on Friday, the same day as Hari's Tamil action-drama "Singam 2", which is releasing Friday.

"I loved the trailer of 'Policegiri', and I want to see the film whenever I find time. I know Ravikumar sir would've done complete justice to the film. I'm eagerly waiting for 'Singam 2' to release and see how.

Chennai, April 2: With two back-to-back flops "Saguni" and "Alex Pandian", Tamil actor Karthi Sivakumar has joined hands with director Hari Gopalakrishnan in an effort to revive his sagging career.

"Soon after the completion of Karthi's current projects, 'Biriyani' and 'All In All Azhagu Raja', he will start working on Hari's untitled Tamil film. The search is on for the rest of the cast," a statement said.

Hari is known for making hits like "Thamizh" and "Saamy".

The untitled film will be produced by Vendhar Movies.

Hari is also busy wrapping up "Singam 2", a sequel to super hit Tamil action-drama "Singam" featuring.

Thanedaar Returns is Sanjay Dutt's third cop role in a year. After Ram Gopal Varma's Department and the forthcoming Zilla Ghaziabad, Dutt will again be shown as a cop.

But producer Aggarwal is unperturbed, "If you've seen the original film Saamy (2003 Tamil film directed by Hari starring Vikram and Trisha) you'd know this is a cop film unlike any other."

However, Vinod Bachchan the producer of Zilla Ghaziabad doesn't think so. In a panic mode on hearing about yet another cop film, Bachchan apparently got in touch with Sanjay Dutt requesting that his film be completed at the earliest.

Mumbai, June 6: Bollywood bad boy Sanjay Dutt who is known to put up powerful performances and Big B Amitabh Bachchan starred together in many films. Recently they shared screen in Rgv's 'Department' which turned out to be a disaster. On the pars, Vikram had no intentions of doing this film as he had previously acted in Hari’s ‘Saamy’ that had portrayed him as a police officer.

But now, the buzzes are that Gowtham Menon is looking out to direct various actors including Vijay and Vikram. Soon after Ajith Kumar’s 50th film, he’ll be holding discussions with these actors and make final decisions.

‘Singam’, ‘Saamy’, ‘Seval’ and along the same lines comes a new title for Hari’s next film ‘Aruva’. The film is produced by Vijaya Productions and will bring Dhanush-Hari combo for the first time. Well, when it’s a film made by Hari, there are no second options for the blatant thing is that it would be an action-packed entertainer.

This time the title itself reveals about the nature of genre that filmmaker Hari would deal with. Nothing more has been revealed about the film and the shooting will start soon after the completion of ‘Singam’.
