That was the wrong way to approach the show. The right way is to just go along for the ride, biting your nails, wondering how the hell Michael is going get out of this one.

Since The Real Housewives of Atlanta debuted in 2008, Shereé Whitfield hasn’t suffered any fools — always appearing as the strong, confident tough girl and rarely getting vulnerable in front of the cameras.
But on Sunday’s all new episode, the 47-year-old reality star broke down in tears when confronted with what she claimed were memories of the alleged physical abuse she had experienced while married to ex-husband Bob Whitfield.
The emotional moment happened while the two were on vacation in Maui, Hawaii — during an already explosive couple’s trip.
Bob was there as part of his continued efforts to woo Shereé back.

Product placement is inevitable, and there’s a right way to do it. The right way makes it subtle, and though you see logos on cars or Dell computers it feels logical to what’s going on in the scene. Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Season 1: Episode 1 – “The Red Serpent”
Written by Steven S. DeKnight
Directed by Rick Jacobson
Originally aired January 22nd, 2010 on Starz
A Short Introduction
Five years ago, Starz premiered Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The series was originally written off by most viewers and critics as being gratuitous, lacking quality storytelling and employing a juvenile aesthetic (or a borrowed one, in the case of the 300 comparisons). During its run on Starz, Spartacus garnered a respectable viewership by the network’s standards, but the number of people who went back to re-evaluate the series and see what was actually there was simply too small in the end. Fast forward to now. Netflix has released the entirety of Spartacus (which features three full-length seasons and a prequel mini-series, all with different subtitles), and subscribers to the streaming service now have a chance to take part in one of television...

It’s not even February and, already, 2014 is shaping up to be a massive year for television. True Detective announced itself as the year’s first new stand-out series. Against all odds, Dan Harmon and Community returned and are putting together a respectable comeback season. FX’s fantastic and hard-working Justified continues to solidify its place among the greats of the past decade. And Girls‘ unique blend of comedy and drama is once again pushing the narrative boundaries of the half-hour series in its third season.
One series, though, is leading the charge at the beginning of the year. The most unlikely of heroes, Cinemax’s Banshee, in just a matter of three weeks, has matured into something truly special – something a lot of TV writers refer to as “appointment viewing” when describing other series. With limited experience dabbling in co-produced original programming, Cinemax released Banshee – its first...

With the success of DayZ and Rust, and more titles jumping on the bandwagon, is the retail game release looking at an unfinished future?
There's no shortage of critics voicing their concerns with the ever-growing prevalence of Dlc and day one patches. When Dlc was first revealed as a thing, we all hoped it would mean substantial and good value extensions for our favourite games, extending the life of titles, and adding in more story, missions and other notable content.
Some games did manage this. Oblivion (not including horse armour, obviously), Fallout, Skyrim, GTA IV and Mass Effect all boasted some high quality Dlc that was well worth the asking price, but as the years rolled by, it quickly became apparent that Dlc wasn't going to be the next big thing we'd hoped. For every genuinely good piece of Dlc released, there were bucket loads of paltry extra costumes,...

Anderson Silva sustained a match-ending leg injury in his Ufc Middleweight title fight against reigning champion Chris Weidman this weekend.
Anderson Silva Breaks Leg
Ufc 168 ended in the second round when Silva shattered his left leg during a kick aimed at Weidman. His shin visibly bent and left the fighter writhing in pain on the octagon floor. Weidman claimed his victory as medics rushed to care for Silva and his leg.
Although the way in which Silva went out was more than unfortunate, Weidman had taken an early lead in the first round and looked poised to defeat him for the second time in a row. Weidman first claimed the title over Silva back in July, upsetting the reigning middleweight champ who’d held on to the belt for seven years.
"I did work on checking kicks," Weidman said after the match. "I figured if I [caught] him on my knee,...

Plus, Disney pulls a gluten joke and does Elementary modernize a literary hero right?
News
Stephen Moffat commented that the next season of Doctor Who has already been plotted, since the show has to work far in advance.
I don’t know how to react to Jezebel‘s praise for Amy Schumer and Schumer’s new sketch comedy show. She’s an incredibly witty comic, but it feels like every time I start really enjoying her work she says something that crosses the line. Still, so far Inside Amy Schumer has been a pretty funny show.
Rumer Willis has booked a role on Pretty Little Liars, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Willis will play a charity organizer who appears in one episode but could return for more.

J-Law booked it to Hawaii on Feb. 27 to celebrate her Oscar win, but it looks like she did more than just lay out on the beach! Jennifer was caught supplementing her glass of red wine with a curious-looking cigarette. But don’t freak out — this girl deserves a break!
If anyone deserves a week off to kick back and celebrate, it’s Jennifer Lawrence. The Silver Linings Playbook actress was truly caught in the act of kicking back on the balcony of her Hawaii hotel on Feb. 27.
Jennifer Lawrence: Celebrating The Right Way
Pictures were snapped of Jennifer really chilling. Hanging with a friend, the 22-year-old actress brought a bottle of red wine, two glasses, a lighter, and a joint of sorts onto the balcony.
She and her friend were still rocking their PJs — J-Law in a loose-fitting gray t-shirt and sweats, and her friend in a tanktop and heart-print boxer shorts.

Ah, Hollywood. Tinseltown. The Dream Factory. The place where you can take any vision and either refine or corrupt it with money and star power. Original ideas used to flow around these parts rather freely. Then something happened, something we can’t quite pinpoint the start of, but we can surely see the effects of. Blockbuster films prompted the studios that made them to think, “What if we gave them more?”; and thus, the movie sequel was born. Some projects are destined sequels (The Lord of the Rings was a three book trilogy), while others have them thrust upon them (Avatar and Independence Day surely don’t need any more entries into the canon.) While sequels exist, they don’t always have to be acknowledged. Superman III and IV were disregarded by Superman Returns, the Scary Movie franchise has about a good of a memory as it does a sense of humor,...

Which metric more fully captures Lady Gaga's global superstardom: the 15 million albums she's sold to date, or the one billion views she reached this week on YouTube?
Though CDs are rapidly becoming a thing of the past, replaced by digital music, physical album sales still remain the gold standard for the industry. Isn't it time that metric is updated to include the wealth of ubiquitous digital platforms? "The notion of tracking sales and correlating that to success is a bit antiquated," says Vevo CEO Rio Caraeff. "There's no single indicator you can look at now--you must look at everything."

This January, SyFy will be premiering their re-imagining of Toby Whithouse’s popular BBC series Being Human. In it, Sam Witwer (Smallville, Battlestar Galactica), Meaghan Rath (The Assistants) and Sam Huntington (Cavemen, Superman Returns) star as the loveable, but supernaturally unenthusiastic characters Aidan (vampire), Josh (werewolf) and Sally (ghost) with Mark Pellegrino (Lost, Supernatural) rounding out the cast as Aidan’s minacious mentor Bishop.
Like it’s UK counter-part, Being Human will follow these three paranormally conflicted roommates as they attempt to shield the world from their metaphysical secrets, all while trying to live double-lives and assimilate themselves into a world that they feel alienated from. Unfortunately, their quest at “being human” is more difficult than any of them could have imagined.
As any purveyor of television can attest, American audiences have been victim to some of the worst, most…

There are three ways to eat ice cream: The right way, the wrong way, and the Alessandra Ambrosio way—which is the best possible way of all. There are three ways of doing things in this world: The right way, the wrong way, and the Lindsay Lohan way—which, while closely related to the wrong way, is so jaw-droppingly bewildering that it deserves its own category.
