Manisha Koirala was upset with the director Lawrence DSouza. She thought he had selected selecting Manish Kumar as the hero of the film. She felt he was a terrible actor and wanted a bigger star cast in that role. It was then explained to her that Manish's father was the film's producer. Manish passed away in 2016.
