    Stiff storytelling

One of my sci-fi/horror/fantasy reviews written 50 years ago: Directed by Delbert Mann; Produced by David L. Wolper and Delbert Mann; Executive Producer: George Lefferts, for Wolper Productions; Telecast in America by CBS-TV. Screenplay by George Lefferts; Edited by Brian Allen; Music by William Loose. Starring: Samantha Eggar, Bradford Dillman, Oscar Homolka, Joan Tetzel, Martha Scott, Claudine Longet, Robert Clary, Henry Wilcoxon, Harry Dean Stanton and Eric Lord.

Overly staid imitation of latterday BBC potted drama, lacking proper supernatural atmospherics, Throwaway tape for TV has value due to lustrous Eggar beauty in appealing makeup and costumes as well as her Redgrave-type American accent for voice-over narration.
