- Jude Harrison: Go ahead. Tell me I told you so.
- Tommy Quincy: [he puts his jacket around Jude's shoulders] For what's its worth, Shay's a kid, and an idiot.
- Jude Harrison: [sobbing] Yeah.
- Tommy Quincy: And he made the wrong choice.
- Jude Harrison: It's not worth much coming from you.
- Tommy Quincy: What's that supposed to mean?
- Jude Harrison: I'm so tired of falling for guys that don't fall back. It hurts.
- Jude Harrison: Jude, I...
- Jude Harrison: You all say the nicest things. You're so great, you're so nice, but none of you want to date me! So you wanna help me, Tommy? Tell me what I do wrong. Tell me why I'm so easy to give up, and maybe I can fix it!
- Tommy Quincy: You are asking the wrong guy.
- Tommy Quincy: [kisses her]
- Tommy Quincy: [a man and women walk in, Jude and Tommy turn, the people leave] You should go Jude.
- Jude Harrison: Tommy don't...
- Tommy Quincy: All summer, I've been dying to get back in the studio with you. I missed working with you.
- [he pauses]
- Tommy Quincy: I'm just gonna say it flat out... I missed *you.*
- [Tommy looks over to see that Jude has fallen asleep. He smiles]
- Tommy Quincy: Okay.
- Jamie: Kat, I've been calling you.
- Kat Benton: I haven't been answering. I've been deciding what I'm going to say to you. Look, I went into this knowing I was No.2, but I thought maybe some day I'd be No.1. But I was wrong and that hurts so much. I made this for you.
- [hands cd]
- Kat Benton: I was going to give it to you after today.
- [walks away]
- Jamie: Kat, Kat wait!
- Jude Harrison: [after telling her parents she failed her chemistry test] It's not like I'm going to be a doctor.
- Victoria Harrison: Oh, honey we don't know that yet.
