Solo Leveling has given us some of the most intense battles in anime this season. It’s easy to get caught in the stunning visuals and harrowing climaxes, cheering for Sung Jinwoo as he faces the likes of ice elves, bears, ants and misremembering the names of his opponents. But part of what makes these battles compelling, at least for me, is the reason why Jinwoo’s doing all this in the first place. Anime protagonists are no strangers to facing overwhelming monsters of the week, but I feel that we get so invested because of their reasons for throwing themselves into danger. That’s why we’re so happy when they succeed, and Solo Leveling did something really special to cap off Jinwoo’s victory. He was allowed to cry. It has been six years since audiences last saw Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle / The Punisher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Punisher is easily one of Marvel's most famous and sometimes controversial, as he often kills his enemies, which typical superheroes do not. Even though the Netflix era of Marvel, now classified as The Defenders Saga, ended in 2019 rather unceremoniously, fans have been waiting for the characters introduced in that corner of the franchise to return. Aside from Daredevil, The Punisher was the second most-in-demand fan-favorite character to make his return to the MCU.
Daredevil: Born Again marks the character's grand return, fittingly with the episode airing nine years to the date that Daredevil Season 2 debuted on Netflix and audiences got their first glimpse at Bernthal's The Punisher. It has been many years, and fans probably have questions about the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of The Punisher and how...

Humanity has been sharing stories about horrific monsters since time immemorial, and some of these tales have become so ingrained in culture that they end up outlasting the societies that created them. That’s why we still see movies based on mythic figures like Hercules and the Minotaur over two thousand years after the end of the Hellenistic period.
And with even Christopher Nolan borrowing from Greek Mythology in his upcoming Odyssey adaptation, we’ve decided to compile a list celebrating six of the scariest depictions of ancient Greek monsters in film. After all, an epic quest is only as thrilling as the strange beasts that our heroes encounter along the way.
In an effort to keep things varied, we’ll only be including one entry per monster. That being said, don’t forget to comment below with your own mythic favorites if you think we missed a particularly spooky example.

The Mass Effect universe is full of interesting characters and factions, but few are as memorable and unsettling as Cerberus. Unlike the Reapers, who are a major, overwhelming threat, or the Collectors, who are temporary, Cerberus represents a continuous and hidden danger that arises from twisted human ambition. While other enemies have been defeated or disappeared, Cerberus has shown itself to be a resilient organization, especially under the leadership of the Illusive Man.
Their ability to adapt and survive through wars and investigations highlights a strong ideology that goes beyond any single person. They aren't just after power; they genuinely believe in humanity's place in the universe and are willing to use brutal methods to secure it. This strong belief and their decentralized structure make Cerberus a perfect enemy to bring back in Mass Effect 5. Their story isn't finished and leaves room for a new, frightening development.

Mass Effect has a variety of companions who join Commander Shepard during their journey to save the galaxy, and Mordin might be one of the most beloved crewmates that can join. He's not a romanceable option, but he shares similarities to Tali and Garrus (who might be two of the more popular love interests in the series) when Shepard tries to speak with him. This is mostly because he has a tendency to be busy and asks if Shepard can talk later, or he'll share an update on what he's been working on.
Mordin isn't available until Mass Effect 2, and even then, it's clear that he's dedicated to science and research more than anything else. While a lot of his comments aren't about topics that relate to Commander Shepard or their goal of striking the Collector Base during the suicide mission, they're fun to listen to. Unexpectedly, one of his...

The Mass Effect video game series may be taking a long time to return to fans, but that doesn't mean the tabletop space is suffering the same fate. Announced in early 2024, Mass Effect: Priority Hagalaz is a narrative board game that allows players an opportunity to role-play as their favorite heroes from the series while taking on a completely original storyline. Fortnite is arguably the most popular battle royale title in the world. With its exciting chapter and season content, along with huge collaborations and captivating gameplay, this title has amassed a huge fanbase over the past seven years since its arrival.
However, the game sometimes feels dull for the players. It is becoming too competitive now for casual players. Also, the region lock cap is removed, and that’s why the situation might get worse. The players have other complaints as well regarding exotic weapons.

Bosses are the main obstacles preventing you from reaching new areas in Hades 2, but the Infernal Cerberus might be one of the toughest of these enemies to beat before reaching Chronos. When you try to exit the Mourning Fields, your run will be tested against this enraged Underworld guardian. The three-headed beast wields fire across a large arena to prevent Melino from getting to the Titan of Time.
You will have to defeat Infernal Cerberus every time you try to reach the final boss of Hades 2 during its early access. Your journey down to the entrance of Tartarus will have other bosses like Scylla in areas called Guardian rooms, located at the end of a region. The Boons and upgrades you receive on your run getting to Cerberus will be key to taming Hade's faithful hound.

Exclusive: CBS’ Elsbeth will count on three additional guest stars for its Season 1 cast: Elizabeth Lail (Five Nights At Freddy’s), Arian Moayed (Succession) and Laura Benanti (The Gilded Age). Following a brief hiatus, the show returns April 4 with two episodes.
Elsbeth follows the titular Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston), an astute but unconventional attorney who utilizes her singular point of view to make unique observations and corner brilliant criminals alongside the NYPD following her successful career in Chicago. The character first appeared in The Good Wife and later in The Good Fight spinoff.
In addition to Preston, Wendell Pierce and Carra Patterson round out the series regular cast as Captain Wagner and Kaya Blanke, respectively. Gloria Reuben recurs as Wagner’s wife, Claudia Payne. The cast is small as the police procedural dramedy depends on a healthy supply of guest stars like Stephen Moyer, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Linda Lavin and Blair Underwood,...

While The Punisher is returning to the MCU in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series, Frank Castle's future afterward may have already been teased. Having begun his crusade against criminals in earnest, The Punisher was offered a job in the final scene of Netflix's The Punisher season 2. As such, it's possible that Frank Castle may soon join a brand-new roster of antiheroes in the MCU.
With the news that Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as The Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again coming to Disney+, it's fair to assume Frank Castle's preexisting history and origins from Netflix's Daredevil season 2 and his spin-off series will still be considered canon. Likewise, the same will hopefully be true for Daredevil (played by Charlie Cox) and Kingpin (Vincent D'onofrio). Keeping that in mind, the ending of The Punisher season 2 could be used to set up Frank Castle's future following his appearance in...

As seen in Netflix's The Punisher, Frank Castle has had quite a bloody history as one of the most dangerous vigilantes in the MCU. First appearing in Daredevil season 2 before getting his own show, it's recently been confirmed that Frank Castle will soon return to the MCU in Marvel Studios' upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series coming to Disney+, reuniting with Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock. As such, the new appearance can finally pay off where the Netflix show left the Punisher at the end of his second season.
Although the news that Jon Bernthal will be reprising his role as The Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again is very exciting, it's not yet known how Marvel Studios will be handling the preexisting history of Murdock, Castle, and any other character who first debuted on Netflix such as Vincent D'onofrio's Kingpin.
