As the build-up to WrestleMania 41 intensifies, the WWE Universe is ablaze with rumors about Cody Rhodes’ highly anticipated matchup with John Cena. However, given that Cena has sided with The Rock, The American Nightmare might be in serious trouble. In his attempt to unseat Rhodes as the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cena has the best insurance policy possible with the Final Boss on his side. To level the playing field, though, might a legend from the Attitude Era stand up? Stone Cold Steve Austin, according to Vince Russo, might be the ideal candidate.
Russo believes that Stone Cold will help Cody Rhodes
Former WWE writer Russo has said that Austin has to appear at Wrestlemania with the hints they have given to the audience.

Aew Reportedly Moving On from Rey Fenix Could See WWE Capitalize with a Potential Reunion with Penta
Aew has been all over the place in recent times as a mass exodus has started. With three big names out of the company in a flash, including Malakai Black, Miro, and Ricky Starks, Tony-Khan’s promotion has found itself wobbling. If the preceding superstars leaving the company weren’t a blow already, there are rumors of Rey Fenix wanting an exit from the company, too.
Khan shocked the Aew fans after releasing the big names in the same week. The speculations about them leaving the company was already in the air and they soon became a reality in no time with Ricky Starks even joining WWE Nxt. There are also reports that Malakai Black who was known as Aleister Black in the WWE might also return to them.

Spoiler Alert! This post contains details from the Season 1 finale of ABC’s High Potential.
Tuesday night’s High Potential finale left audiences with more questions than answers as Morgan and the LAPD begin to zero in on what happened to her ex, Roman Sinquerra.
Here’s a recap of the episode:
Things kick off when the LAPD receives a tip while discussing their upcoming police gala, which Soto has requested the entire Major Crimes unit is in attendance for. The tip is merely a photo of a man being held hostage with a note that says: “Spencer Wallace wouldn’t play with me, will you?”
The man in the photo, presumably Spencer Wallace, is holding a sign that reads: “Two hours to make your move.”
They start by visiting Spencer’s apartment, where they find a puzzle waiting on his doorstep. Inside is a note that reads “let’s play.

If you’ve been following Animal Control, you know the wildly hilarious Fox sitcom is not just about wrangling animals. With the beloved series led by Joel McHale returning for its highly-anticipated third season, the workplace comedy is every bit about untangling the messy lives of the humans behind the scenes as much as it is about the animals they help. Ahead of the new season premiering Thursday night on Fox, McHale — alongside his co-stars, Vella Lovell and Grace Palmer – spoke exclusively to Collider about all the shenanigans their characters get into across this year’s 10 episodes and the plethora of guest stars that have them excited, including the return of Ken Jeong as the reputable, but unhinged dog trainer, Roman Park.

High Potential's possible romance between Morgan and Karadec could be seriously complicated if one fan theory about Roman turns out to be true. The procedural crime show follows Morgan, a brilliant mother-of-three who finds herself working as a consultant for the Los Angeles Police Department. While the overt reason for this is a need to provide for her family, she's also secretly working with the head of the LAPD's Major Crimes Division Selena to investigate what happened to her old boyfriend Roman.
His mysterious disappearance serves as an overarching element of the show and fuels some major theories about High Potential's potential future. However, it's far from the only only running plot-line, including a growing connection between Morgan and her frequent detective partner Karadec that could turn romantic. However, one popular fan theory about Kaitlin Olson's High Potential could be a real complication for any potential love story between Morgan and the detective.

The Fall Finale is upon us, and with it, a break in the premiere season of High Potential. But fret not, faithful viewers, for there will be one more episode before the series takes a hiatus.
It looks like the writers want the break to start off with a bang, literally. This time, the call is coming from inside the precinct.
Morgan just wanted to bring her kid to check out her work, and then the whole place gets taken hostage. Isn’t that just like a parent’s life? Make your plans in pencil.
(Mitch Hasseth/Disney)
From the promo for High Potential Season 1 Episode 7, the danger is closer to home than anyone expected this soon in the series.
The question is, will everyone make it out unscathed? This is a technical finale, after all. We’re likely to see a “Heroic Sacrifice” or “Bullet-Catcher,” as they are sometimes called.

Romance movies are defined by their central couples, and when the actors' chemistry is believable, it elevates the project to a new level. While tension and physical chemistry are a huge part of what makes these dynamics work, there must be an underlying sense of friendship and a shared sense of humor that drives their banter and scenes together. In most cases, this kind of palpable attraction can't be faked and is something that two actors either have or don't. However, this gravitational pull between characters is helped by well-crafted writing and direction and a magnetic atmosphere in the film.
Movie couples with the worst chemistry can easily sour the film and make it difficult to watch for audiences. If two actors clearly don't like each other or simply don't seem attracted to each other, then the audience will have trouble becoming invested in their love story. This is why...

The fifth episode in Season 3 of the horror anthology series American Horror Stories is centered around the winner of the Tony Awards, the Oscars, and the Television Academy Awards, Daniel Hausman-Burger. Apparently his son, Roman, has been missing for quite a while, and in order to cope with it, Daniel has buried himself in his next project. He has cut himself off from the world because he feels that there’s nothing out there for him to explore. His agent, Aaron, assures him that every law enforcement authority is doing their best to seek out Roman, so Daniel should come out of the bubble he has created in his house and re-enter society. Daniel refuses to do so. He tells Aaron to leave him alone, and he walks back into his workspace to focus on his script. However, when he walks through the door to his room, he ends up getting transported to a mall.

With nine Oscar nominations and two wins, Denzel Washington's legacy as one of the finest actors in Hollywood is well-established. But even without the accolades, the man's talent speaks for itself. Often this is literally the case. Alfred Hitchcock once told Francois Truffaut, "The chief requisite for an actor is the ability to do nothing well" — something that frequent Hitch collaborator James Stewart had down to a tee. Even Stewart's quiet charisma arguably can't quite match Denzel's effortless magnetism, though. The man can make doing nothing look good like no other. But he can also do a lot when required, and has demonstrated his adaptability across one of the most impressive filmographies in Hollywood.

The following contains major spoilers for Hotel Cocaine Episode 8, "The Price," which debuted Sunday, August 4 on MGM+. It also contains discussion of violence and drug use, and strong language.
Hotel Cocaine is the most underrated crime show in years. The MGM+ drama officially clinches that status with Episode 8, "The Price," which is the capstone of Roman Compte's journey to save his family and stop the cocaine-fueled violence in Miami. It's a wonderfully acted and beautifully shot finale, which succeeds in being as epic as the story wants it to be. The only thing that stops the Hotel Cocaine finale from being amazing are the fourth-act plot twists suggesting viewers will get Season 2.
As the title indicates, the episode is about the price that gets paid so that the cocaine trade can continue. At points, it's a little heavy-handed in conveying that message, but it's effective all the same. "The Price...

There is a very good reason why Dwayne Johnson, popularly known across the globe as The Rock, is one of the biggest and most commercially successful film stars in the world today. This mostly stems from most of his films targeted at the masses who just want a fun film to experience.
Therefore, he has naturally been sticking to entertaining the people as much as he can, which means almost no critically engaging performances or films that he’s been a part of.

But it seems like that might be changing soon in the future as the star prepares himself to dedicate his time and effort towards a passion project of his, titled The Smashing Machine with none other than A24. Since this production company is known to invest in and create critical masterpieces, The Rock could be looking at changing into new lanes in his career.

Denzel Washington, a prolific actor with a long list of iconic characters, revealed that his most treasured role is not from any action-packed blockbuster or historical epic. Instead, it comes from a film in which he played a civil rights lawyer who is autistic.

His ongoing feud with Cody Rhodes implies that The Great One will play a significant role in WWE in the coming weeks. With that said, there was also a time when The Great One refused to travel with his old tag team partner, due to one big reason.

Fans are eagerly anticipating a potential showdown between The Rock and Roman Reigns, but there’s also a collective desire to ensure that Cody Rhodes’ storyline isn’t overshadowed. Initially, there were concerns about this imbalance, but a more balanced approach has been adopted. As a result, there has been a shift in the trajectory of WrestleMania 40’s storyline. However, fans are now genuinely enjoying the direction it has taken, especially after the initial backlash.

Roman's inability to take things seriously hinders his progress and leads to hilarious scenes, such as when he accidentally sends an explicit photo to his father. The rocket launch disaster in season 1 showcases Roman's incompetence and satirizes real-life situations, but it doesn't play a significant role in his character arc. Roman's interactions with his father, particularly during a boardroom vote in season 1, highlight his vulnerability and the complexities of their relationship.
Roman Roy is one of the most entertaining players in Succession, and Kieran Culkin's character has many great scenes under his belt — though some hold up better than others. The youngest of the Roy siblings, Roman is often overlooked in the drama surrounding who will take over Waystar Royco following Logan's departure from the media corporation. Although Roman isn't pushed to the side quite as much as Connor, he's the least likely contender among Kendall, Shiv, and himself.

Court documents filed with Santa Monica Superior Court Judge H. Jay Ford III on Oct. 20 indicate director Roman Polanski has waged a legal attempt to clear his name of additional allegations of sexual assault.
Polanski’s legal team uses a number of defenses in its newest filing, including that the woman’s claim is not valid because she accused him of sexual battery—which didn’t become a crime until 1990. He also argued that the plaintiff’s request for damages was based on guesswork and conjecture.
The 90-year-old director is accused of luring the girl, identified as Jane Doe in her June 16 lawsuit against him, to his home. He then allegedly gave her tequila and assaulted her. This case is separate from decades-long allegations that the director had unlawful sexual intercourse with a then-13-year-old Samantha Geimer.

Now that the Roman Empire trend has swept across the Internet, it's possible that some scripts that take place in that period are ready to become the next Rome or Vikings. Roman drama television and films have been popular for some time, but since HBO's Rome, very few productions about the civilization have surfaced. Barbarians on Netflix and Domina on Sky have promising stories to tell despite going unnoticed. One promising future show is Those Who Are About To Die, which is being made by Peacock. It's based on the book that inspired Gladiator, directed by Ridley Scott.
The question "How often do you think about the Roman Empire?" has passed from couple to couple across the Internet. But the answers shouldn't be a surprise because, through modern media history, the Roman Empire has graced big and small screens with classic movies and television. The inaccuracies in Gladiator 2's plot, such as the fictional survival of Lucius Verus II, raise concerns about Ridley Scott's upcoming epic drama, Napoleon, which may similarly deviate from historical truth. Filmmakers have a responsibility to remain true to real-life events when presenting them as accurate depictions of reality, and if Scott continues his controversial trend, Napoleon may face backlash even before its release.
Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2 is a hugely exciting follow-up to the director’s Best Picture winner, yet there are concerns about the sequel continuing the filmmaker's worst trend when it comes to the accuracy of his historical movies. New remarks from Kieran Culkin make Roman Roy's already bleak Succession ending feel even darker. HBO’s Succession hit an all-time ratings high with its recent series finale, which finally wrapped up the saga of the Roy siblings and their vain attempt to follow in the footsteps of their god-like media mogul father Logan Roy. Viewers have since debated which Roy sibling ultimately won, even as all three were left in a very dark place by episode’s end. Arguably, no Roy sibling was left at a lower point than Culkin’s Roman, who was shut out entirely after Waystar Royco’s sale to Lukas Matsson, and now faces a future of seeming isolation.
As dark as Roman’s Succession series finale end already seemed to viewers, the character’s fate looks even bleaker in light of new remarks from Culkin, who paints a picture of Roman as a person...

Succession's series finale dropped on Max at the end of May and gave fans the perfect ending to the four-season drama. Fans love Succession because it's a dramatic, gripping series that deals with serious subjects, family drama, and the monstrosity of capitalism in a fun way. Roman is one of the most hilarious, immature, and compelling members of the Roy family.

Are we having fun yet?
On Party Down Season 3 Episode 1, after a protracted absence, the answer is an unqualified yes!
It's been 13 years since we last saw Henry Pollard, Ron Donald, Kyle Bradway, Roman DeBeers, and the rest of the Party Down gang.
First and foremost, it would be difficult to go awry with such a hilarious cast. This Cast, people! It's a comedy dream team.
You've got Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, and Megan Mullally for a start. Jennifer Garner and James Marsden are there to join in on the fun. Credit must also go to the slightly lesser-known but equally hilarious Ken Marino, Martin Starr, and Ryan Hansen.
Jane Lynch's comedic style has never quite been to my taste (as my reviews of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Only Murders In The Building can attest), but she is just perfect in this.
Ensemble comedy is one hundred percent her forte.

Getting WWE fans to drop what they're doing on Friday night to tune into SmackDown isn't easy, but The Bloodline and Sami Zayn angle make the February 3 edition of the show can't-miss TV. This has been professional wrestling's most compelling storyline for months, and the former Honorary Uce pushed things into the final act at the Royal Rumble. When tasked with striking Kevin Owens with a chair, Zayn instead smashed Roman Reigns in the back, leaving the leader of The Bloodline stunned. The premium live event went off-air with Sami laid out in the middle of the ring, covered in red flowers, Owens handcuffed to the ropes unconscious, and the faction in shambles.

The Fast & Furious movies are full of wild and ridiculous stunts. The Fast Saga first began in 2001 with the release of The Fast & The Furious, in which FBI agent Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) investigates Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his street racing gang. As the Fast & Furious series continued, the franchise left street racing behind for far more incredible and larger-scale action and adventure with Dom and his family.
With its comic book-like tone, the Fast Saga has also greatly increased the outlandishness of its car stunts. While more and more of the Fast Saga's action is supplemented by CGI and camera magic, stunt performers still play an important role in bringing the action of the series to life. Here are the 10 most amazing and ridiculous stunts of the Fast & Furious franchise.

Korean distributors are having to fight ever harder for their share of Korea’s theatrical market share. Threats on the horizon include a slide in the performance of local movies, consolidation, the arrival of new players and the challenge from streaming services.
South Korea’s theatrical box office is now bigger than that of France or Germany despite a smaller population. But it has largely stopped growing and may be at a turning point. Admissions have plateaued since 2013, and gross revenues have increased largely due to ticket price increases.
The country’s powerhouse exhibition companies Cj-cgv and Lotte have responded by expanding abroad. But for distributors, it means a fight on many fronts.
The clearest evidence that the old order was under threat came last year when Lotte Cultureworks (formerly Lotte Entertainment), dethroned Cj Entertainment as the country’s top distributor for the first time in 15 years. Success came from...

Girl Talk is a weekly look at women in film — past, present, and future.
Armed with an Oscar and a distinctive filmmaking sensibility, Sofia Coppola may seem like the sort of filmmaker primed to make the jump to big studio movies. Who wouldn’t want more money and a bigger stage to spend it on? Well, Coppola doesn’t — and she’s right to stay away.
A recent article in Variety questioned if Coppola “may be trapping herself in a boutique bubble of her own,” asking if “perhaps her next move should be to work on a larger scale, to mix it up in some way, to shake herself out of her comfort zone.” Yet the filmmaker has roundly rejected such demands to somehow inflate her portfolio in the name of “growth,” balking at blockbusters and sequels, and resisting the notion that her projects should primarily exist to make a lot of money.

In 2007, Adrien Brody went out to the woods in Upstate New York to find himself— and a partly burned stone barn. Having just come out of filming Rian Johnson's whimsical caper comedy "The Brothers Bloom," and feeling his career adrift, the Oscar winner bought this enchanting, decaying early 20th-century structure, built by a Roman, which has been used as a nightclub, a museum and an amusement park. For seven years, Brody took on the ambitious and soul-churning process of restoring and turning it into what it now is: "Stone Barn Castle," Brody's home away from the noisy energy of acting and of New York City, and the title of the SXSW premiere doc he made with filmmaker Kevin Ford. Cinematographer/editor turned director Ford, whom Brody met when he was shooting behind the scenes on "Brothers Bloom," documents this herculean, yeoman's effort with gentle artistry, making room for the...

It is usually a bad sign when a network cancels a pilot screening near the last minute. If you read the Comic-Con schedule, you would have thought that the first episode of iZombie screened twice. It didn’t, but the extended first look and the producers’ explanation soothed my qualms. Apparently they're recasting a few roles and doing some reshoots, and they aren’t showing the pilot anywhere until that is done, but what we did see of the show was pretty fantastic. Not being recast were series stars Rose McIver, Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley, and David Anders, along with executive producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright, who were all on hand to talk about the show and take audience questions. Who is getting fired? They didn’t say, but on Veronica Mars, Thomas recast the dog after the pilot, so maybe history is repeating itself.

Wednesday (March 13) is another day for the history books as white smoke emerged from the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City to indicate a new Pope has been elected.
Earlier in the day, 76-year-old Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who will now be known as Pope Francis I, was announced as the 266th pope of the Roman Catholic Church.
Of course, it wouldn't be a big announcement without the stars of Tinseltown taking to Twitter to voice their reactions.
Check out some of the serious and not-so-serious thoughts that celebs had to say below:
Neil Patrick Harris: New Pope news soon! You might want to follow @TheTweetOfGod for all papal updates. He has an “in”
Carson Daly: We have a pope!!!!!
Seth Rogen: There’s also white smoke coming out of my office, but nobody seems that excited about it. #pope
Joan Rivers: A new Pope has been chosen!
