The upcoming music biopic “All Eyez On Me” follows the life of rapper Tupac Shakur (Demetrius Shipp, Jr.), from his humble beginnings to his professional success and cult personality to his tragic demise by a fatal drive-by shooting. Today would be Shakur’s 45th birthday, so it’s only appropriate that the first teaser trailer for “All Eyez On Me” would drop today of all days. In the trailer, Shakur’s mother Afeni Shakur (Danai Gurira) explains to her son over voiceover, “This ain’t just about you. Like all black men, you have a bullseye on your back. They are going to give you the tools that you need to destroy yourself. So above all else, to thine own self be true. Let me see your spirit.” Watch the trailer above.

After a troubled pre-production phase in which many directors shuffled in and out of the project, music video director Benny Boom eventually took the reigns. The rest of the cast includes Kat Graham (“The Vampire Diaries”), Annie Ilonzen (“He’s Just Not That Into You”), Dominic L. Santana (“Dead Heist”), Jamal Woolard (“Notorious”). It’s produced by Morgan Creek Productions and distributed by Open Road Films.

“All Eyez On Me” is set to be released on November 11th.

And so the work of the ants continues to pay off. We haven’t hit any kind of critical mass yet as far as the contraband businesses and Red vs. Vee, but the battle lines are being more clearly drawn, people are taking their places, and tensions are rising high. Piper even finally has a space in the prison drama, as her furlough makes her a recipient of white privilege, and also a target. The furlough is something even Suzanne is furious about (in spite of her own white parents), which lets you know it’s serious, not to mention all of those inmates who have lost their loved ones, yet weren’t granted a few days off themselves.

It was announced earlier this week that AMC is spinning-off its most popular show, The Walking Dead. This new horror series, which comes from The Walking Dead executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert, will follow a different set of never-before-seen survivors while still being set within this same zombie infested universe. And because it's an American series, we don't think it's going to take place outside the U.S. Pretty exciting news, right? Well, the announcement itself was met with a resounding...Sigh of indifference.

Why, you might ask, did so few fans care so little about the expanding of this great series? That's easy. It's because we've been inundated with zombies over the course of the past few years. From World War Z, to Marvel Zombies, to an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and even with Bath Salts on the streets, the walking dead are literally everywhere.

Horror Channel have announced a double bill season of brain-munching zombie movies. Including five UK TV premieres. Rising up from the Friday 6th April are a putrid plethora of zombie movies, both contemporary and classic, celebrating the popularity of one of the genre’s most enduring archetypal villains. The season reflects the diverse range of metaphors these ungodly creatures represent – from the breakdown of society to our addiction to consumerism and taste for the military.
