One episode centers Earl helping a friend find a mate.

In one episode a hobo wants to hug Earl, who he refers to as "cute". He takes Joy's girl shoes, as well.

Throughout the seasons there is quite a deal of violence.

Uses of damn, ass, hell. Bitch is used, usually insulting Joy. Uses of slut and whore are used as well.

Drinking and smoking occurs in almost every episode.

There are some references to drugs, but they are mostly negitive points.

A duffel bag of pot is seen in a episode, but they don't smoke it.
